<p>cBEYONData a subsidiary of SMX is seeking a Full Stack AI Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable AI-enabled web applications and cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS technologies. The ideal candidate is a strong systems thinker with experience across front-end development, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and emerging AI technologies. This role will support the development of modern AI-powered applications, integrations, and automation capabilities while ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency in a high-tempo environment. This role is hybrid supporting a Hanover, MD program</p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</span></strong></p>
<p>• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures<br>• Build and maintain user interfaces using React and related front-end technologies<br>• Develop backend services, APIs, serverless functions, and integrations using Python and/or Node.js<br>• Integrate AI and machine learning services such as Amazon Bedrock and other large language model (LLM) platforms into enterprise applications<br>• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI workflows, and AI orchestration capabilities<br>• Optimize AI model prompts, monitor model performance, and support cost-efficient AI solution design<br>• Support deployment automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational sustainment of AI-enabled systems<br>• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions<br>• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements and cloud governance best practices utilizing AWS IAM, security guardrails, and related controls<br>• Support DevSecOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud cost management</p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Required Skills & Experience</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></p>
<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field<br>• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development<br>• Demonstrated experience developing modern web applications using:<br>o React or similar front-end frameworks<br>o Python and/or Node.js backend technologies<br>• Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications in AWS environments<br>• Demonstrated experience supporting at least one production-grade AI or machine learning implementation<br>• Experience integrating APIs, asynchronous processing, and scalable backend services<br>• Understanding of software security principles and secure cloud architecture practices<br>• Experience with DevSecOps concepts and modern software delivery practices<br>• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br>• <strong>Secret clearance</strong><br>• <strong> CompTIA Security+ certification required</strong></p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Desired Skills & Experience</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></p>
<p>• Experience with Amazon Bedrock or other enterprise generative AI platforms<br>• Experience implementing RAG architectures, AI agents, or orchestration frameworks<br>• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and AI evaluation techniques<br>• Experience optimizing AI model usage for performance and cost efficiency<br>• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies<br>• Experience supporting federal or DoD environments</p>
