We’re looking for a <strong>Senior Account Executive </strong>who wants to have real ownership, real impact, and the opportunity to help shape how we partner with high-growth, technology-forward Digital Native customers across the region. A true sales leader who can both expand existing relationships and secure new logo business.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This role requires an intelligent salesperson who can engage in a highly consultative manner with Development and Operations/IT teams within Digital Natives. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for territory development, prospect qualification, proposing and closing sales opportunities for Aerospike products and services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, biased toward action, with prior experience selling database or infrastructure solutions into Digital Native accounts.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This is a direct sales role that requires regular face-to-face engagement with prospects and customers across the assigned UK &amp; Northern Europe territory.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">At Aerospike, we power mission-critical, real-time applications for some of the world’s most innovative companies. Never.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This is not a “run-the-book” role.</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This is about leading, expanding, and winning within strategic, innovative fast growing accounts.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Source, develop, and close new business opportunities to consistently exceed quarterly sales targets</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build a deep understanding of Aerospike’s products, value proposition, and competitive landscape</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build trusted relationships across all levels, from hands-on engineers to senior executives</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and execute effective territory planning and account management strategies</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proactively engage target prospects and evangelize Aerospike solutions and customer success stories with Development leaders and technical teams</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deliver compelling presentations using industry knowledge, market trends, and customer case studies to clearly articulate Aerospike’s value</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Own forecasting, pipeline, and opportunity management in Salesforce</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and execute sales strategies in a fast-paced, small-team environment</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide the highest level of customer service and act as a trusted advisor to customers</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to broader sales strategy and share best practices and success stories with peers</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Attend and support regional events, meetups, and customer-facing activities</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What You Bring</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of experience in software sales, quota-carrying field sales experience, ideally with a database, data platform, or data services background</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven success managing and expanding Enterprise and/or Digital Native accounts in Europe</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hands-on experience selling into product-led, engineering-driven organizations</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Consistent track record of exceeding quota</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong business acumen with a consultative, value-based sales approach</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Database or infrastructure experience strongly preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Product-led or technical sales experience highly desirable</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with senior leadership and C-level executives across Engineering, IT, and the business</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Self-motivated, detail oriented, disciplined team player comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced startup environment</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Why Aerospike?</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Aerospike powers mission-critical, real-time applications for some of the world’s most innovative companies.
