This position plays a key role in helping partners across the organization confidently and effectively use technology to better support elders, families, and fellow partners.</p> <p data-start="564" data-end="990">The Technology Training Specialist supports Otterbein’s mission and values by creating engaging technology training programs, maintaining technology standards, and promoting continuous learning across the organization. Governance</span></h3> <ul data-start="1309" data-end="1694"> <li data-section-id="pgnt8w" data-start="1309" data-end="1443">Partner with IT leadership and organizational stakeholders to define, document, and maintain technology standards and best practices</li> <li data-section-id="1gwhnl0" data-start="1444" data-end="1534">Translate technical policies and procedures into clear, user-friendly training materials</li> <li data-section-id="1bj34m2" data-start="1535" data-end="1615">Maintain and support standard operating procedures related to technology usage</li> <li data-section-id="1o4a7rr" data-start="1616" data-end="1694">Promote responsible and effective use of organizational technology resources</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="oppoca" data-start="1696" data-end="1734">Training Program Design &amp; Delivery</h3> <ul data-start="1735" data-end="2131"> <li data-section-id="zcawau" data-start="1735" data-end="1832">Design and deliver role-based technology training programs for partners across the organization</li> <li data-section-id="1uj501a" data-start="1833" data-end="1962">Create engaging learning materials including: <ul data-start="1883" data-end="1962"> <li data-section-id="l0cqb4" data-start="1883" data-end="1896">User guides</li> <li data-section-id="1s8n3e8" data-start="1899" data-end="1909">Job aids</li> <li data-section-id="1o2azp4" data-start="1912" data-end="1937">Knowledge base articles</li> <li data-section-id="ziqewv" data-start="1940" data-end="1962">Instructional videos</li> </ul> </li> <li data-section-id="1ej1oa1" data-start="1963" data-end="2016">Facilitate both live and recorded training sessions</li> <li data-section-id="of56za" data-start="2017" data-end="2131">Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve training content based on feedback and adoption metrics</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="1fhplzt" data-start="2133" data-end="2184">Learning Management System (LMS) Administration</h3> <ul data-start="2185" data-end="2466"> <li data-section-id="14bxqf9" data-start="2185" data-end="2282">Implement and administer the organization’s technology-focused Learning Management System (LMS)</li> <li data-section-id="lcnugn" data-start="2283" data-end="2343">Develop structured learning paths and training curriculums</li> <li data-section-id="w51d4k" data-start="2344" data-end="2409">Track course completion, certifications, and compliance metrics</li> <li data-section-id="icnps" data-start="2410" data-end="2466">Maintain accurate training documentation and reporting</li> </ul> <p></p> <h3 data-section-id="ix0xw6" data-start="2468" data-end="2510">Certification &amp; Curriculum Development</h3> <ul data-start="2511" data-end="2767"> <li data-section-id="19zznto" data-start="2511" data-end="2604">Develop certification-based learning programs aligned with organizational roles and systems</li> <li data-section-id="tllscd" data-start="2605" data-end="2702">Ensure training materials remain current with changing technology, policies, and best practices</li> <li data-section-id="2pj630" data-start="2703" data-end="2767">Support onboarding and ongoing partner development initiatives</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="1afx0wa" data-start="2769" data-end="2811">Collaboration &amp; Continuous Improvement</h3> <ul data-start="2812" data-end="3113"> <li data-section-id="j8rkd1" data-start="2812" data-end="2884">Collaborate with IT teams and leaders across departments and locations</li> <li data-section-id="k61ay6" data-start="2885" data-end="2943">Identify training gaps and opportunities for improvement</li> <li data-section-id="1klbc6u" data-start="2944" data-end="3028">Serve as a positive ambassador for Otterbein through knowledge sharing and support</li> <li data-section-id="vp4wlw" data-start="3029" data-end="3113">Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and personalized service</li> </ul> <p><strong></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></strong></p> <ul data-start="3151" data-end="3758"> <li data-section-id="s2fmqr" data-start="3151" data-end="3278">Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, or related field; or equivalent work experience</li> <li data-section-id="59qfn8" data-start="3279" data-end="3382">Proven experience developing and delivering end-user technology training in an enterprise environment</li> <li data-section-id="1db7c24" data-start="3383" data-end="3479">Experience creating instructional materials such as user guides, training videos, and job aids</li> <li data-section-id="11yoq1q" data-start="3480" data-end="3566">Hands-on experience implementing or administering a Learning Management System (LMS)</li> <li data-section-id="15iuimn" data-start="3567" data-end="3659">Strong ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner</li> <li data-section-id="o5e4my" data-start="3660" data-end="3712">Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills</li> <li data-section-id="hc2wri" data-start="3713" data-end="3758">Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>BENEFITS*</strong></p> <p><strong>Health &amp;
