Otterbein is adding a Full-Time <strong>Maintenance Technician I</strong>I to our team - 32 hours per week!&nbsp; Candidates with experience and a desire to be part of a great team are encouraged to apply.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.</li> <li>Assists with moving of residents’ furnishings as needed.</li> <li>Paints&nbsp;residents' living quarters as needed.</li> <li>Assists with the&nbsp;on-going preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure.</li> <li>Assists with maintaining documentation of fire safety evacuation plan, fire drills, disaster plan, smoking policy, fire alarm testing,&nbsp;fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports, generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of interior finishes, and other maintenance records.</li> <li>Assists with transportation tasks as needed</li> <li>Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors and partners.</li> </ul> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">Qualifications</h2> </div> </div> </div> <ul> <li><strong>Education</strong>: High School Diploma or equivalent is required</li> <li><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong>:&nbsp; Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and be insurable</li> <li><strong>Experience: </strong>Maintenance experience in a maintenance department and prior experience in a health care facility preferred.
