Join us and discover what it means to work for a company that truly values its people.  </div>Job Summary: As a Construction Safety Professional at CMI, you will implement best practices, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and promote a strong safety culture on targeted construction projects. This role involves actively overseeing safety on large-scale commercial projects in various environments. Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mentor, educate, and train staff on safety protocols.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Foster a positive safety culture within the team.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Attend safety meetings as required, at varying frequencies.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct on-site observations and recommend safe work practices.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Facilitate pre-task planning, audits, job safety analyses (JSAs), and permit processes.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct site-specific orientations, training classes, and toolbox talks.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Generate reports as needed by the job site.</li> </ul> Requirements and Experience: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Safety Standards (1926).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proven ability to collaborate with teams at all organizational levels.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.</li> </ul> Education and Credentials: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">OSHA 30 Construction within the last 5 years required </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">OSHA 500 Certification a plus</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">ASP, CSP, CHST is a plus</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">First Aid CPR AED certification required.</li> </ul> Physical Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Standing, walking, climbing ladders, stooping, entering confined spaces, working on roofs, and lifting up to 30 lbs.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Navigating rough or uneven terrain throughout your shift, excluding reasonable and allowable break times.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Exposure to extreme conditions, including heat, cold, high winds, heavy rain, or snow.</li> </ul> Other Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Overtime and flexible working hours may be necessary based on project demands.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Burlington, New Jersey </li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion">Equal Opportunity Employer Compliance Management International (CMI) is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
