Our Construction Safety Professionals play a key role in implementing best practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a proactive safety culture. This contract position requires strong leadership, deep electrical safety knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with all levels of a construction team</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Key Responsibilities:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Mentor, educate, and train staff on safety protocols and industry best practices.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Foster a positive safety culture by engaging workers, supervisors, and management.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Attend and actively participate in safety meetings at varying frequencies as required.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Conduct on-site safety observations and provide recommendations for improved work practices.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Lead safety initiatives, including pre-task planning, audits, job safety analyses (JSAs), and permit processes.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Facilitate site-specific orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks to reinforce safety expectations.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Generate and maintain safety reports as required by project management.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Requirements &amp; Experience:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">GC and or Owners Experience</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Minimum of 3 years of direct construction safety oversight experience.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Safety Standards and regulatory requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess and mitigate risks.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for training and reporting.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar safety management software</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Education &amp; Certifications:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (must be obtained within the last 5 years).</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Conditions:</strong></p> <p>This position requires active field presence on construction sites. Duties include standing, walking, climbing ladders, working at heights, entering confined spaces, and navigating uneven terrain throughout the workday. The role may involve lifting up to 30 lbs. and working in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wind, or precipitation.
