This role serves as the primary analytics partner to reimbursement operations and requires a self‑starter with a strong analytical mindset, technical depth, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience in reimbursement or medical billing analytics—particularly within an advanced diagnostics laboratory environment—is critical to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner closely with Reimbursement Operations leaders to understand business challenges, define analytical needs, and deliver data‑driven insights that support operational and strategic decisions.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and iteration.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Perform deep‑dive analyses to quantify operational performance, identify trends, surface risks, and uncover opportunities for improvement.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Work extensively with Python, R, SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI to analyze and visualize data.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Capture and document business and technical requirements, perform quality control checks, and support user acceptance testing in partnership with stakeholders.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Prepare and maintain recurring reports and key performance indicators to monitor reimbursement and billing operational health.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support training and enablement of end users on dashboards and analytical tools to promote data literacy and self‑service analytics.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate cross‑functionally with data, technology, finance, and operations teams in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.</li> </ul> <h3>Who You Are:</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in an IT, STEM, or related field; other degrees considered with relevant experience.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">5+ years of experience in a technical analytics role.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong proficiency in SQL and experience using it for analytical purposes.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Intermediate experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Hands‑on experience modeling data in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven experience designing and delivering dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau or a comparable BI platform, with a strong focus on clarity and usability.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to manipulate, integrate, and analyze large, complex, and disconnected datasets.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience working directly with business stakeholders, managing expectations, and translating business questions into analytical solutions.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated ability to independently own complex problems, learn new technologies quickly, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of business processes and systems.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with reimbursement operations or medical billing analytics, ideally within an advanced diagnostics or laboratory setting.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with ETL processes, data governance, model operationalization, and data lake or warehouse build‑outs.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience applying statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing, regression, and distributions to solve business problems.</li> </ul>  #LI-Remote  <div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"> The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience, skillset, geographic location, industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.</div><div class="title">Pay range</div><div class="pay-range">$120,000—$138,000 USD</div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion">  <h3>What We Can Offer You</h3> Veracyte is a growing company that offers significant career opportunities if you are curious, driven, patient-oriented and aspire to help us build a great company.
