If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.</p></div><p>Vast is looking for a <strong>Senior Recruiter, Corporate&nbsp;</strong>reporting to the<strong> Manager, Recruiting </strong>to&nbsp;support hiring across our Business Development, Marketing, and other corporate functions. This role will play a critical part in building the teams that enable Vast’s mission to design and build artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a <strong>full-time</strong>, <strong>exempt </strong>position located in our&nbsp;<strong>Long Beach</strong>&nbsp;location.&nbsp;</p> <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li data-start="131" data-end="347">Own end-to-end full-cycle recruiting for corporate roles across Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Operations, and other non-technical functions, operating with minimal guidance and sound independent judgment.</li> <li data-start="350" data-end="577">Partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders, leading structured intake meetings to define role requirements, interview strategy, success criteria, and clear expectations while building trusted, advisory relationships.</li> <li data-start="580" data-end="738">Use data, market insights, and business context to influence hiring decisions, balance competing priorities, and deliver timely, high-quality hiring outcomes.</li> <li data-start="741" data-end="937">Own sourcing and engagement strategies to identify and attract top and passive talent through diverse channels, effectively communicating Vast’s mission, value proposition, and growth opportunity.</li> <li data-start="940" data-end="1116">Own the candidate experience by delivering personalized, transparent, and engaging journeys; facilitate interviews, feedback, and debriefs with professionalism and inclusivity.</li> <li data-start="1119" data-end="1246">Lead offer strategy and execution, including motivation-based offers, compensation discussions, and negotiations through close.</li> <li data-start="1249" data-end="1409">Drive recruiting excellence through consistent processes, metric-driven prioritization, continuous improvement initiatives, and mentorship of junior recruiters.</li> </ul> <h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree&nbsp;</li> <li>5+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting, with a focus on corporate or non-technical roles</li> </ul> <p>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience using Greenhouse ATS&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated success recruiting for Business Development, Marketing, or other corporate functions&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong sourcing skills, including identifying and engaging passive candidates in competitive markets&nbsp;</li> <li>Self-directed with a high sense of urgency and exceptional attention to detail&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent communicator and problem solver&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to remain flexible, adaptable, and composed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment</li> <li>Highly organized with strong prioritization skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Sharp eye for detail and process precision</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range: California</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$103,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$180,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><div style="line-height: 1;"><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS</strong></div> <div style="line-height: 1;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="line-height: 1;"> <div> <div data-qa="message_pane"> <div> <div id="message-list"> <div id="message-list"> <div data-qa="slack_kit_scrollbar"> <div> <div data-qa="slack_kit_list"> <div id="message-list_1770163429.476589" data-qa="virtual-list-item" data-item-key="1770163429.476589"> <div data-qa="message_container" data-qa-unprocessed="false" data-qa-placeholder="false" data-msg-ts="1770163429.476589" data-msg-channel-id="D1T52LDR4"> <div data-qa-hover="true"> <div> <div> <div> <div data-qa="message_content"> <div> <div data-qa="message-text"> <div data-qa="block-kit-renderer"> <div> <div> <div>Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
