Through advanced software, deep automation, breakthroughs in materials science, and modern financing strategies, Rangeview rewrites both the cost curve and the power structure of making metal parts.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>As an R&amp;D Specialist, you will execute tests and experiments in a research environment, recording data, running equipment, and acting as a core member of Rangeview's materials R&amp;D team. A successful candidate for this role will demonstrate determination, integrity, and an ability to be exceptionally organized and detail oriented.</p> <p>We are currently hiring for L2 - L3 (senior).</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain lab and production space as a clean environment in good working order</li> <li>Execute detailed test plans, including material formulation, testing, and equipment configuration</li> <li>Run and maintain a variety of equipment, including 3D printers, mixers, and analytical instruments</li> <li>Create detailed documentation of results and observations during test execution</li> <li>Play an active role in R&amp;D team discussions, contributing information from your experience to help interpret results and plan upcoming R&amp;D efforts</li> <li>Propose, and when appropriate, execute tests autonomously to achieve R&amp;D team goals</li> <li>Perform any and all duties required to keep R&amp;D tests moving, including late night store runs and manually babysitting equipment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ yrs of hands on experience in a manufacturing, research, or R&amp;D environment&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiarity with lab tools (analytical equipment, scales, pipettes, etc.)</li> <li>Great with your hands&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to work full-time on-site in El Segundo, CA&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to meet ITAR - U.S. export control requirements, such as being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required authorization&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ yrs of wet lab experience</li> <li>Experience working with complex equipment and tools</li> <li>Experience working in a clean room environment</li> <li>Familiarity with lab safety procedures required for hazardous materials</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Summary Pay Range</strong></p> <p>Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline.
