A successful candidate for this role will demonstrate determination, integrity, curiosity, and technical capability.</p> <p>We are currently hiring for L1(entry level) - L3IC (Senior).</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and develop&nbsp;manufacturing equipment from concept to production,</li> <li>Evaluate, qualify, and engage with vendors for components, subsystems, and entire pieces of manufacturing equipment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform failure mode analysis to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and performant</li> <li>Collaborate with Production, M&amp;P, and other peer teams to ensure alignment of projects to business goals</li> <li>Resolve issues encountered in production. Develop and test engineering changes as necessary.</li> <li>Ensure equipment meets requirements for throughput, quality, safety, footprint.</li> <li>Identify and drive improvement projects to improve current manufacturing process</li> <li>Document equipment so that it is simple and intuitive to operate complex equipment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, automation, and/or manufacturing</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar Engineering discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience.</li> <li>Familiarity with other mechanical design tools (CAD, FEA, PLM, etc.)</li> <li>Hands on experience in a manufacturing environment</li> <li>Strong Mechanical Design Skills (materials selection, statics/dynamics, tolerancing, component selection, etc.)</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Must be able to meet ITAR - U.S. export control requirements, such as being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required authorization</li> <li>Must be able to work full-time, W2, onsite in El Segundo.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with investment casting, vacuum melting &amp; casting, heat treatment, ceramics manufacturing, or similar</li> <li>Familiarity with SLA printers, furnaces or high-vacuum systems.</li> <li>Familiarity with highly regulated production environments and safety-critical equipment</li> <li>Familiarity with industrial controls (PLC, HMI, common controls components)</li> <li>Has had ownership over automated equipment builds.</li> <li>Worked for a high-growth tech company / start-up</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Summary Pay Range</strong></p> <p>Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline.
