<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a driven and results-oriented <strong>VP of Projects (Construction)</strong> to lead our ~$30M construction business unit at Leo Facility Services. You will own the P&L, drive growth and profitability, and lead a team delivering projects across rollouts, remodels, buildouts, and ground-up construction. This is a highly visible leadership role that demands strategic vision and decisive, hands-on execution.</p>

<p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own the portfolio P&L: revenue, GM%, cash (billing/collections), and overhead to plan.</li>
<li>Model work ethic and ownership: be visible on sites, tackle issues early, and set a high bar for pace and quality.</li>
<li>Govern WIP, invoicing milestones, and AR aging; drive AR >60 reduction and claim resolution.</li>
<li>Deliver a programmatic playbook for roll-outs: scope control, site readiness gates, standardized closeout.</li>
<li>Enforce baseline schedules and cost controls; apply earned-value and variance reviews to keep projects on plan.</li>
<li>Own stage-gates from feasibility and precon through execution, punch, handover, and documentation.</li>
<li>Maintain risk registers (permitting, site access, supply chain); prequalify vendors; ensure regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Serve as executive sponsor for key project accounts; lead QBRs and portfolio reviews with clear dashboards.</li>
<li>Identify scope growth and renewals; partner with sales organization on pursuits and pricing strategies.</li>
<li>Lead a team across project management, field/ops, estimating/precon, and project controls.</li>
<li>Hire, onboard, coach, and succession-plan; align staffing to backlog and site cadence.</li>
<li>Institutionalize a weekly operations review covering revenue, GM bridges, schedule variance, TRIR, and AR aging.</li>

<p><strong>What you bring</strong></p>
<p><strong>Required</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven P&L ownership with 10–15+ years leading enterprise-scale, national, multi-site construction/program roll-outs in retail/real estate or similar.</li>
<li>Mastery of scheduling, cost control, WIP/AR, change orders, and closeout across $200K–$1M projects.</li>
<li>Experience leading team and national vendor management.</li>
<li>Proficiency with project management tools, systems, and processes in the commercial real estate and construction industry.</li>
<li>Ability to scale with experience: standardized playbooks, vendor network upgrade, schedule/cash improvements.”</li>
<li>Willingness for U.S.-based with ~25% travel to client sites and vendors.</li>

</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Launched a Cloud-based Construction Management Platform (e.g., Procore, Autodesk) or similar at scale; MS Project/P6 scheduling at portfolio level</li>
<li>Store development experience; preconstruction/estimating exposure.</li>
<li>BIM and scheduling tools (MS Project/P6); multi-state permitting familiarity.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related; PMP/PE a plus.</li>

<p>Leo determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Total compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 – $250,000, inclusive of base salary and annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience</p>
