We are currently seeking an <strong>experienced Project Manager</strong> to lead and manage <strong>heavy mechanical commercial projects</strong> from inception to completion. The ideal candidate has <strong>5-6+ years of project management experience</strong> in the <strong>mechanical or industrial construction industry</strong>, a strong understanding of <strong>union labor coordination</strong>, and a track record of successfully managing <strong>large-scale, time-sensitive projects</strong>.</em></p>
<p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities</em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>Project Oversight & Execution</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage <strong>multiple commercial heavy mechanical projects</strong> simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.</li>
<li>Develop and implement <strong>project plans, schedules, and timelines</strong> to meet client and company objectives.</li>
<li>Coordinate <strong>pre-construction planning, project scope development, and contract negotiations</strong>.</li>
<li>Identify potential project risks, troubleshoot challenges, and provide <strong>strategic solutions</strong>.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with <strong>safety regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Budgeting, Cost Control & Resource Allocation</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and manage <strong>project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports</strong>.</li>
<li>Track <strong>costs, labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses</strong>, ensuring cost-effective solutions.</li>
<li>Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety.</li>
<li>Forecast <strong>financial impacts</strong> and proactively adjust project plans to maintain profitability.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Team Leadership & Union Labor Coordination</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and direct <strong>union workforce</strong>, ensuring productivity and adherence to labor agreements.</li>
<li>Work closely with <strong>field supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors</strong> to ensure smooth project execution.</li>
<li>Maintain strong relationships with <strong>trade unions, vendors, and suppliers</strong>.</li>
<li>Ensure all labor activities comply with <strong>union regulations and company policies</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Stakeholder Communication & Client Relations</em></strong></p>

<li>Serve as the <strong>primary point of contact</strong> for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.</li>
<li>Maintain <strong>regular communication and reporting</strong> with senior management, ensuring alignment with company goals.</li>
<li>Conduct <strong>client meetings, progress reports, and site visits</strong> to assess project status and address concerns.</li>
<li>Negotiate and manage <strong>contracts, change orders, and project scope modifications</strong>.</li>

<p><strong><em>Technical & Compliance Expertise</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure all projects comply with <strong>local, state, and federal mechanical construction codes</strong>.</li>
<li>Oversee <strong>permitting, licensing, and inspection processes</strong> to meet regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Utilize <strong>project management software and construction technology</strong> to improve efficiency and documentation.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Qualifications & Experience</em></strong></p>
<p><em>✔</em><em> <strong>5-6+ years of experience</strong> as a Project Manager in the <strong>heavy mechanical, industrial, or commercial construction sector</strong>.<br></em><em>✔</em><em> Extensive knowledge of <strong>HVAC, piping, plumbing, and sheet metal systems, commercial construction, and union labor practices</strong>.<br></em><em>✔</em><em> Proven experience in <strong>managing large-scale projects ranging from $500K to $5M in value</strong>.<br></em><em>✔</em><em> Strong expertise in <strong>budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract administration</strong>.<br></em><em>✔</em><em> Proficiency in <strong>project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite</strong>.<br></em><em>✔</em><em> Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.<br></em><em>✔</em><em> Ability to manage <strong>multiple priorities</strong> in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</em></p>
