<div class="content-intro">   </div>Summary Manufactures and installs aircraft wire harness assemblies and components using a variety of engineering data, tools and equipment in a timely and efficient fashion while ensuring quality standards are attained.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Manufactures aircraft wire harness assemblies following engineering drawings, shop aids and supporting information.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Installs wire harnesses on final product assemblies such as interior cabinet assemblies, periphery assemblies, circuit breaker component panels, etc.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Produces wire fabrication with tools for wire harness manufacturing including strippers, crimpers, heat guns and other wire harness production equipment.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Provides guidance to less experienced craftsman, and performs tasks as required for daily operation and long-term department goals.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Performs wire marking, cutting and labeling duties.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Reads and interprets engineering drawings.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Performs testing and verification of final product.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Designs and builds shop aids.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Wears safety equipment as required and complies with safety guidelines and procedures.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Consistently produces a quality product.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Properly maintains shop tools and equipment.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintains a neat, organized work area and helps with the general daily housekeeping of the department.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Meets target hours and completes schedules as set by the supervisor.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.</li> <li style="font-size: Certification <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Minimum 4+ years corporate or commercial aircraft wiring experience or related military training.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.</li> </ul>   Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to communicate in English (read, write and verbally communicate).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Mathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Comprehensive knowledge of the techniques, processes and procedures of aircraft wire harness manufacturing.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to research, identify and operate proper tools for the task assigned.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work with repetitive stripping and crimping equipment.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Exhibits hand-eye coordination/skills with a high degree of accuracy.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to interpret and understand engineering data.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to read measuring instruments.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to operate wire-marking machine and labeling machine.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to design and build shop aids.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to assemble electrical wiring and components on cabinet, panel or sheet metal assemblies.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work overtime as required.</li> </ul>   Physical Requirements <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to climb and work on step stools and/or ladders.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to lift 25 lbs. without assistance/able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to reach overhead.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to work in a non-dust-free environment.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Normal or corrected vision (required to perform exacting tasks).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Full range of motion with both hands.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Can work in a stooping, kneeling or standing position and in cramped areas.</li> </ul>   Personal Tool Requirements   NOTE: Although the company provides some tools, the electrical production of Aerospace Interiors and assemblies is a highly developed skill that requires many personal tools enabling an individual to construct quality items in a productive time frame.  Additional tools may be required.   The
