<div class="ui-form-item ui-form-item-horizontal" data-direction="horizontal"> <div class="ui-form-field lifesuite__rte--display"> <div class="ui-form-field lifesuite__rte--display"> <p>SMX is looking for a highly motivated Data Management Specialist to support our government client in Huntsville, AL.</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with team members and customers to support the management of program data across MDA system</li> <li>Establish, implement, and enforce data governance practices and oversees tactical and operational data handling</li> <li>Develop and implement Integrated Data Management Plans (IDMPs) and Data Handling Plans (DHPs)</li> <li>Support the full lifecycle of data events to include collection, validation, storage, dissemination, and archival of program data</li> <li>Support data integration and interoperability efforts across programs ensuring authoritative data sources are handled properly</li> <li>Work closely with the government to define data requirements and collection plans for test events</li> <li>Support mission execution through pre-test validation of data systems, coordination of data flows, and post-mission data turnaround</li> <li>Perform data analysis to identify data gaps and inconsistencies, identifying areas for improvement</li> <li>Ability to manage and govern structured and unstructured datasets across pre-production / test, operational, and enterprise-wide environments</li> <li>Validate and maintain metadata and data records to meet defined standards of quality, traceability, and mission utility</li> <li>Participate in planning meetings and technical reviews</li> <li>Support data readiness for business intelligence, AI/ML, and advanced analytics</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Clearance Required: Secret</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience <ul> <li>Degree should be in Data Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field</li> <li>A high school diploma and 7 years of experience may be substituted for a degree</li> </ul> </li> <li>Ability to multi-task and work across different projects simultaneously&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and as a team</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills</li> <li>Proficient in employing data management, visualization, and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc.</li> <li>Must reside within 70 mile radius of Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Application Deadline:</span></strong><span data-contrast="auto">&nbsp;</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> 6/29/2026</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">#cjpost #LI-ONSITE</span></p> </div> </div> </div><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
