At PTR, we don’t just rent trucks—we partner with our customers to drive efficiency and success on every job site.</div> <hr>  </div>The Sr. Manager, FP&A and Strategy is a key member of the Corporate FP&A team responsible for supporting executive reporting, enterprise performance management, strategic planning, long-range planning, and weekly KPI reporting. This role provides financial insight, business analysis, and performance visibility to senior leadership, helping connect financial results, operational trends, strategic priorities, and future growth expectations.  This position will work closely with executive leadership, Accounting, Finance, Operations, Commercial, Strategy, and other cross-functional partners to ensure reporting, forecasts, and long-range plans are accurate, actionable, and aligned with company priorities. This role is a hands-on finance leader who can translate complex financial and operational data into clear executive-level insights, challenge assumptions, support strategic decision-making, and continuously improve the company’s planning and reporting processes.  LOCATION  <ul> <li data-leveltext="-" data-font="Calibri" data-listid="1" data-list-defn-props="{"335551671":0,"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Calibri","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"-","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Onsite in Fort Wayne, IN PTR is prioritizing candidates located in or willing to relocate to the Fort Wayne, IN market. However, exceptional remote candidates whose experience strongly aligns with the requirements of the role may be considered on a case-by-case basis.</li> </ul> COMPENSATION <ul> <li>This position offers a competitive compensation package, benchmarked to regional market standards. It consists of a salary plus the opportunity for quarterly profit sharing after one year of employment. </li> </ul> RESPONSIBILITIES  <ul> <li>Lead weekly KPI reporting, including performance dashboards, executive summaries, and clear explanations of trends, risks, and opportunities. </li> <li>Support monthly and quarterly executive reporting packages, including financial results, business performance, actionable insights, variance analysis, and leadership presentations. </li> <li>Partner with senior leadership to develop materials for executive reviews, board meetings, strategic planning discussions, and business performance updates. </li> <li>Own key components of the long-range planning process, including financial modeling, scenario planning, growth assumptions, margin analysis, capital needs, and strategic investment evaluation. </li> <li>Analyze actual performance versus budget, forecast, prior year, and long-range plan and clearly communicate key drivers, business implications, and recommended actions. </li> <li>Develop and maintain corporate financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, capital allocation, and executive decision-making. </li> <li>Coordinate with business unit and functional finance partners to consolidate inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure consistency across enterprise reporting and planning processes. </li> <li>Support strategic initiatives through ad hoc analysis, business case development, investment modeling, sensitivity analysis, and post-implementation performance tracking. </li> <li>Continuously improve planning, reporting, forecasting, and executive communication processes to increase accuracy, efficiency, and strategic impact. </li> <li>Partner with IT and data teams to improve KPI definitions, reporting automation, dashboard capabilities, and data integrity. </li> <li>Develop scalable corporate FP&A processes that support organizational growth, faster decision-making, and increased transparency. </li> </ul> REQUIREMENTS  MUST HAVE  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field. </li> <li>7-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related field. </li> <li>Experience supporting executive reporting, strategic planning, KPI reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and/or long-range planning processes. </li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li> <li>Excellent executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information. </li> <li>Ability to translate financial and operational data into practical business recommendations and strategic insights. </li> <li>Continuous improvement mindset </li> <li>Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and executive reporting skills. </li> <li>Experience managing, mentoring, or developing finance professionals. </li> </ul> NICE TO HAVE  <ul> <li>MBA, CPA, or other advanced business/finance designation. </li> <li>Experience with SAP, Planful, Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, or similar FP&A, business intelligence, and reporting tools. </li> <li>Experience in a high-growth, multi-location, asset-intensive, industrial services, transportation, rental, or similar operating environment. </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">Employee Benefits At Premier Truck Rental (PTR), we invest in our people by offering competitive benefits, wellness programs, and growth opportunities designed to support you both professionally and personally. <hr data-start="475" data-end="478"> <h4 data-section-id="1jbxybt" data-start="480" data-end="502">Wellness & Fitness</h4> Take advantage of our on-site CrossFit-style gym, featuring a full-time personal trainer dedicated to helping you reach your fitness goals.
