The position requires a strong emphasis on security, system resilience and network performance, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and optimise network infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.</li> <li>Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance performance, improve resilience, and strengthen cybersecurity.</li> <li>Take a holistic approach to infrastructure by assessing client environments and providing improvement recommendations to the Technical Operations Manager.</li> <li>Deliver expert-level support and diagnostics for complex issues across server infrastructure, switching, wireless, and firewall environments.</li> <li>Deploy and configure Windows and macOS desktop environments, Windows Server, VMware hypervisors, enterprise Wi-Fi, and next-generation firewalls.</li> <li>Provide remote and on-site IT system design, implementation, and support tailored to client business requirements.</li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, network topologies, and key configurations, including photographic records of critical components.</li> <li>Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with clients during incidents and service delivery.</li> <li>Support software testing and collaborate with development teams on integration and deployment.</li> <li>Manage cybersecurity across client networks, including endpoint protection and perimeter security.</li> <li>Maintain accurate time tracking, job records, and completion of daily service logs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical skills required</strong></p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience as either Senior Network Field Engineer / Technical Lead / Project Engineer or Technical Account Manager</li> <li>Proficiency with RMM platforms (e.g. ConnectWise, N-able).</li> <li>Strong knowledge of networking protocols, and WAN/LAN/VPN design, along with cybersecurity best practices.</li> <li>Experience deploying and maintaining infrastructure across Windows, macOS, Unix, and Linux environments.</li> <li>Strong understanding of wireless technologies, firewall configuration, and endpoint protection.</li> <li>Experience with server and client architecture, virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), and disaster recovery planning.</li> <li>Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and remote connectivity solutions</li> <li>Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and diagnostic capabilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li data-start="914" data-end="1363">Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li> <li data-start="914" data-end="1363">Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</li> <li data-start="914" data-end="1363">Strong analytical thinking and effective time management skills.</li> <li data-start="914" data-end="1363">Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor technical teams is highly desirable</li> <li data-start="914" data-end="1363">Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.</li> <li data-start="914" data-end="1363">Microsoft certifications and other industry-recognised qualifications are highly regarded</li> <li data-start="914" data-end="1363">Willingness to travel to client premises as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fuel card, tolls and car allowance provided</li> <li>Work closely with some of Australia’s leading clubs and golf venues</li> <li>Be part of a growing MSP with strong industry partnerships</li> <li>Gain exposure to diverse clients and cutting-edge technologies</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
