As a Senior MSP Project Engineer you will join our team and lead the implementation of client-facing technical projects across the Knoxville, TN area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment, is comfortable working on-site with clients, and has a deep understanding of multi-tenant support, project execution, and modern IT infrastructure. &nbsp;You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and upgrading systems across a wide range of client environments. This includes servers, networking, cloud platforms, cybersecurity solutions, and endpoint technologies</p> <p><strong>Your work as a Senior MSP Project Engineer has several components:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Function as a hands-on, technical element of client project delivery, including but not limited to:&nbsp;</li> <li>Client onboardings and offboardings<br>o &nbsp; &nbsp;Network installations and migrations&nbsp;<br>o &nbsp; &nbsp;Windows server-to-server or server-to-cloud migrations&nbsp;<br>o &nbsp; &nbsp;Office builds and moves&nbsp;<br>o &nbsp; &nbsp;MDM/MAM + Conditional Access implementation</li> <li>Collaborate with project managers and account teams to provide regular updates and create and update documentation.</li> <li>Function as an escalation point for resolution of project issues.</li> <li>Travel to client sites across Knoxville for installations, assessments, and hands-on technical work.</li> <li>Communicate clearly with clients, acting as a technical expert and trusted advisor.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Our ideal Senior MSP Project Engineer has the following qualifications:</strong></p> <p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;3-5+ years IT MSP experience including a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on project engineering experience (mandatory).&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong experience implementing IT infrastructure projects from design through completion.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, AD, and common MSP toolsets (RMM, PSA).&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Solid understanding of CCNA-level networking&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent written and verbal communication&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong aptitude for time and note entry within a PSA.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Understanding of predictive and hybrid project methodologies, including roles, responsibilities, and work breakdown structure (WBS)&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Preferred requirements:</span></p> <p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, PMI).&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Specific experience with: Microsoft Azure, 365, and SharePoint&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Fortinet firewalls<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Windows Server&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Modern security principals – MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, MDM, MAM&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;ConnectWise PSA&nbsp;</p> <p>The target salary for this role is $125,000-$135,000 per year and will operate out of the Knoxville, TN office.
