While traditional design focuses on brand aesthetics, your focus will be on <strong>conversion.</strong></p> <p>You will be responsible for the high-volume production of direct-response creative assets—social ads, landing pages, and email graphics—that drive new customer acquisition. You understand that "good design" is design that performs. You will work in a rapid iteration loop: designing concepts, launching them, analyzing performance data with the media buyers, and optimizing the next batch based on what won.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Ad Creative &amp; High-Velocity Testing</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>High-Volume Production:</strong> Design and iterate on a high volume of static and motion-based ad creatives for email, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Google, and YouTube.</li> <li><strong>Modular Design:</strong> Create templates that allow for rapid testing of different "hooks," headlines, value propositions, and visual styles without starting from scratch every time.</li> <li><strong>Motion Graphics:</strong> Produce lightweight, high-converting video ads (using After Effects, CapCut, or Premiere) that are specifically pacing for social media consumption (stopping the scroll).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Funnel &amp; Landing Page Optimization</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>CRO Design:</strong> Design high-converting landing pages and advertorials. You aren't just making pages look good; you are designing for User Experience (UX) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).</li> <li><strong>Visual Hierarchy:</strong> Structure layouts to guide the user’s eye toward the "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now" action effectively.</li> <li><strong>A/B Testing Support:</strong> Partner with the marketing team to design A/B tests for email, paid ads, and landing page elements (hero images, button colors, trust badges) to improve funnel efficiency.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Analysis &amp; Collaboration</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Feedback Loops:</strong> Attend weekly performance meetings to review metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS) and translate that data into new design decisions.</li> <li><strong>Asset Management:</strong> Organize creative assets to ensure the media buying team always has fresh content to rotate into live campaigns.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications (Required)</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>3+ years of experience</strong> in digital design, specifically within a DTC, E-commerce, or performance agency environment.</li> <li><strong>Motion Graphics proficiency:</strong> Ability to create engaging social video ads is non-negotiable (After Effects, Premiere, or similar).</li> <li><strong>Expert in Figma &amp; Adobe Creative Suite:</strong> Speed and efficiency in these tools are critical.</li> <li><strong>Data Literacy:</strong> You don't need to be a media buyer, but you must understand basic performance metrics (Click-Through Rate, Conversion Rate, Cost Per Acquisition) and how design influences them.</li> <li><strong>Direct Response Knowledge:</strong> You understand the psychology of sales—urgency, social proof, and clear calls to action.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications (Preferred)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in the sports, fitness, or outdoor industry.</li> <li>Experience with landing page builders (Unbounce, Shogun, Replo, or similar).</li> <li>Understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile-first shopping experiences.</li> <li>Basic video editing skills for editing UGC (User Generated Content) into ads.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical / Environmental Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>The role requires extended periods of screen time.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift based on real-time ad performance data.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Expectations</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Ego-Free Design:</strong> You are comfortable with the fact that sometimes the "ugliest" ad performs the best. You prioritize data over personal aesthetic preference.</li> <li><strong>Curiosity:</strong> You actively swipe through your own social feeds to see what other brands are doing to "stop the scroll" and bring those ideas to the table.</li> <li><strong>Speed:</strong> You thrive on momentum and can move from concept to export quickly.</li> <li><strong>Generative AI expert:</strong> You know prompts, and can build creative content + pipelines at scale.</li> </ul>
