Selkirk applies first-principles thinking to design scalable, process-driven systems that create lasting operational advantage.</p> <p>Selkirk is launching a new direct-to-consumer brand with a unique business model, and we are in the early stages of building out our team to assist with our pre-launch strategy and sustaining it post-launch and beyond. &nbsp;The Marketing and Affiliate Coordinator will play a key role and overseeing campaigns, social ads, and marketing strategies, as well as driving the growth of our competitive affiliate program.&nbsp;<br>The ideal candidate is a task-oriented, problem solver with a passion for sports, branding and possesses and entrepreneurial mindset.&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Why Join Selkirk Sport?</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Lead brand design for the #1 brand in pickleball</strong>—an industry on the rise.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work on <strong>high-impact projects</strong> seen by millions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with a <strong>fast-moving, innovative</strong> brand design team.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Enjoy a <strong>high-energy work environment</strong> where your ideas shape the future of the sport.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for growth.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h2> <p><strong>Digital Asset Management (The "Toolkit" Creator). </strong>The Coordinator works with your Malaysian Graphic Designer to ensure the brand has a constant supply of:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Performance Creative:</strong> Managing the production of high-converting Meta/TikTok ads (static and video).</li> <li><strong>Affiliate "Swipe" Kits:</strong> Creating pre-approved sets of Instagram Stories, captions, and email templates that affiliates can download and use instantly.</li> <li><strong>Lander Optimization:</strong> Coordinating updates to landing pages that specifically "sell the dream" of the business model.</li> </ul> <strong>Marketing Campaign Roles (The "Growth" Driver) </strong>The Coordinator will execute three specific types of campaigns: <ul> <li><strong>The "Passion" Recruitment Campaign:</strong> Running ads and outreach specifically to find people who love your niche but don't know they can get paid for it yet.</li> <li><strong>Flash Sale Coordination:</strong> Syncing the designer, the email list, and the affiliate base so everyone promotes the same product at the same time for maximum impact.</li> <li><strong>Educational Webinars/Lives:</strong> Hosting or coordinating live sessions that teach affiliates <em>how</em> to sell your product effectively, increasing their LTV (Lifetime Value).</li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></h2> <strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong> <ul> <li><strong>Academic Background:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.</li> <li><strong>D2C Expertise:</strong> 2+ years of experience in <strong>Direct-to-Consumer (D2C)</strong> or E-commerce marketing. Experience in the sporting goods or fitness industry is a major plus.</li> <li><strong>Affiliate Management:</strong> Proven track record of managing affiliate or "ambassador" programs, specifically moving beyond just "paying for posts" to building high-LTV partnerships.</li> <li><strong>Startup Agility:</strong> Experience in a <strong>pre-launch or early-stage</strong> environment; you are comfortable building processes where none exist yet.</li> </ul> <strong>Technical &amp; Creative Coordination</strong> <ul> <li><strong>Creative Direction:</strong> Ability to translate high-level brand goals into specific "briefs" for graphic designers, specifically for <strong>Meta and TikTok</strong> performance creative.</li> <li><strong>Tools of the Trade:</strong> Proficiency with <strong>Asana/Trello</strong> (or similar project management tools), <strong>Google Analytics</strong>, and affiliate tracking software (e.g., Refersion, GoAffPro, or Involve Asia).</li> <li><strong>Funnel Awareness:</strong> Understanding of the "Lander" journey—knowing what makes a landing page convert a "cold" lead into a passionate affiliate.</li> </ul> <strong>Market &amp; Cultural Fluency</strong> <ul> <li><strong>Bilingual Mastery:</strong> Native-level fluency in <strong>English and Bahasa Malaysia</strong>. Must be able to write "Swipe Kits" and captions that sound natural and persuasive in both languages.</li> <li><strong>Local Nuance:</strong> Deep understanding of the Malaysian "social commerce" culture (how to leverage WhatsApp, Telegram, and TikTok Live for sales).</li> </ul> <strong>Mindset &amp; Personality</strong> <ul> <li><strong>The "First-Principles" Thinker:</strong> You don't just follow a checklist; you look at the goal and design the most efficient process to get there.</li> <li><strong>Task-Oriented Problem Solver:</strong> You take pride in "closing the loop"—if a designer is stuck or an affiliate is confused, you proactively find the fix.</li> <li><strong>Entrepreneurial Drive:</strong> A genuine passion for sports and the "hustle" of building a new brand from the ground up.</li> </ul> </div>
