Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.</p></div><h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Role overview:</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The <strong>Manager, People Technology Platform Engineering (Workday) </strong>is responsible for leading a team of Platform and Integration Engineers and being responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous evolution of SIE’s global Workday platform.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Working with the Director, People Technology Services, this role combines people leadership with platform accountability, ensuring that the team delivers scalable, reliable, and well-architected solutions across the People Technology ecosystem. The role is responsible for shaping how the platform is built and operated, balancing delivery execution with long-term system sustainability.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This role operates within an Agile product delivery model and plays a critical role in establishing a focused, engineering-led operating model. The manager partners closely with Product, Data, and Architecture team members to align platform capabilities with business priorities.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Operating in a global, matrixed environment, this role leads a distributed team across regions, ensuring alignment, consistency, and high-quality outcomes across time zones.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Engineering Leadership &amp; Team Development</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead, coach, and develop a team of People Technology Platform Engineers and Integration Engineers (P3), setting clear expectations for ownership, engineering quality, and delivery outcomes</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and engineering excellence</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure team members develop both domain depth and platform engineering capability</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead performance, provide regular feedback, and address performance issues directly and constructively</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure appropriate coverage across platform domains while maintaining balanced workloads</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Platform Ownership &amp;
