Our team is at the forefront of new technology, helping founders and their companies impact and change the world.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><strong>The Role</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">We are looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The Fund Accounting Manager will report directly to a Controller and will work closely with the Crypto team, Crypto Technical Operations, Assistant Controllers, and other Fund Finance staff, as well as deal operations and the legal department.&nbsp; The Fund Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for general ledger entries and preparation of financial statements for the Crypto vertical.&nbsp; We use enterprise software (AllVue, IPREO, Salesforce, Tres, Anaplan, HazelTree, TRES) for efficiency and scale.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">This role requires an in-office presence 2 days a week in our Menlo Park, CA or San Francisco, CA office.</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Assist with cash flow operations to and from investors and portfolio companies</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Work collaboratively and efficiently with the team to prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, the annual audit, and fulfill tax requirements</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Perform wire verification checks, prepare and record common purchase transactions</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Prepare entries for realization events</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Reconcile monthly and daily information with custodians and vendors</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Assist in regular cash and stock distributions, working with bankers and brokers</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Maintain portfolio tracking reports ensuring data accuracy and comprehensiveness</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Prepare all documentation in accordance with SEC guidelines and US GAAP</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Coordinate with portfolio company counsel and internal General Counsel as necessary</span></li> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Assist Controller and/or Assistant Controller with the Crypto vertical projects as needed</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><strong>To join our team, you should be excited to:</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Work in a highly organized and detail-oriented way.
