We are seeking a Project Manager for Enterprise Software who will also contribute to product direction, helping guide roadmap priorities and developer experience for our SDK and enterprise solutions.
Position Overview
The Project Manager – Enterprise Software will lead cross-functional development initiatives while contributing to product planning and technical strategy. This role combines traditional project management responsibilities with aspects of product management, helping ensure that engineering work aligns with customer needs, market opportunities, and company goals.
The role works closely with engineering, product stakeholders, sales engineering, and leadership to deliver high-quality enterprise software solutions. The Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering.
This position is ideal for someone comfortable coordinating complex software projects while helping shape product direction and developer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Plan, coordinate, and manage enterprise software development projects from concept through release.
Work closely with engineering teams to track progress, manage schedules, and resolve blockers.
Facilitate new development by gathering requirements, planning feature implementation, and tracking the work.
Maintain clear communication across engineering, product, sales, and leadership teams.
Ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Roadmap Prioritization and Guidance
Collaborate with engineering leadership and stakeholders to help define and prioritize the product roadmap.
Evaluate incoming feature requests, customer needs, and technical initiatives to help guide development priorities.
Balance strategic improvements, customer-driven enhancements, and technical maintenance work.
Release Planning and Coordination
Plan and coordinate software releases across engineering, QA, documentation, and support teams.
Ensure release scope is well-defined and communicated internally.
Coordinate release notes, documentation updates, and internal announcements.
Help manage versioning, release schedules, and cross-platform compatibility considerations.
Developer Experience
Advocate for developer usability across our SDKs.
Help identify opportunities to improve integration, documentation, and onboarding for developers.
Work with engineering and documentation teams to ensure developers can easily understand and implement our products.
Competitive and Market Awareness
Assist in analyzing competitive products and industry trends in enterprise document and developer platforms.
Contribute insights that help guide feature development and product positioning.
Help communicate product capabilities and differentiators internally.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with:
Software Engineering
QA and Documentation
Marketing
Sales Engineering / Customer Success
Executive leadership
Support customer-facing teams by helping clarify product capabilities, roadmap direction, and technical considerations.
Day-to-Day Activities
A typical day may include:
Reviewing project progress with engineers
Coordinating development priorities with the Director of Software Engineering
Updating project plans and tracking milestones
Gathering feedback from internal stakeholders or customers
Reviewing upcoming release scope and timelines
Working with documentation teams on release notes and developer guidance
Helping prioritize incoming feature requests or improvement ideas
Participating in internal strategy or roadmap discussions
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of experience in software project management, product management, or a customer success / sales engineer role.
Experience working with enterprise software or developer-focused products (SDKs, APIs, or platforms).
Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate work across engineering and business teams.
Preferred
Experience working with developer tools, SDKs, or APIs.
Familiarity with enterprise document processing, PDF technologies, or developer platforms.
Experience working in a fully remote or hybrid setting
Experience contributing to product roadmaps or release planning.
Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams.
