<h2 data-section-id="1wct3r9" data-start="559" data-end="576">About the Role</h2>
<p data-start="578" data-end="910">We are looking for a hands-on <strong data-start="608" data-end="637">Quality Control Inspector</strong> to support pipe fabrication quality in our Duncan, SC fabrication shop. This position is responsible for inspecting fabricated pipe spools, welds, materials, and completed assemblies to confirm work is built correctly, documented accurately, and ready for client delivery.</p>
<p data-start="912" data-end="1305">This role works closely with fabrication, welding, project, and quality teams to verify that work meets drawings, project specifications, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, practical knowledge of pipe fabrication, and the ability to maintain accurate inspection and quality records throughout the fabrication process.</p>
<h2 data-section-id="1wajri6" data-start="1307" data-end="1324">What You’ll Do</h2>
<ul data-start="1326" data-end="2688">
<li data-section-id="2ychca" data-start="1326" data-end="1451">Inspect fabricated pipe spools and assemblies for dimensional accuracy, orientation, fit-up, slope, and overall workmanship</li>
<li data-section-id="qwrskn" data-start="1452" data-end="1581">Review piping isometrics, fabrication drawings, weld maps, P&IDs, and project specifications to verify fabrication requirements</li>
<li data-section-id="pxo2kt" data-start="1582" data-end="1705">Perform visual weld inspections to evaluate weld quality, weld size, appearance, and compliance with project requirements</li>
<li data-section-id="1vakek6" data-start="1706" data-end="1818">Confirm proper weld preparation, joint fit-up, alignment, and use of approved Welding Procedure Specifications</li>
<li data-section-id="oyse4h" data-start="1819" data-end="1941">Verify incoming materials against specifications, heat numbers, material test reports, and other required certifications</li>
<li data-section-id="ono8b" data-start="1942" data-end="2030">Support material traceability from receipt through fabrication and final documentation</li>
<li data-section-id="zzw0h7" data-start="2031" data-end="2136">Coordinate, review, and witness NDT activities such as RT, UT, PT, and MT, when required by the project</li>
<li data-section-id="rg784n" data-start="2137" data-end="2215">Track NDT results and ensure required documentation is complete and accurate</li>
<li data-section-id="2tvtpu" data-start="2216" data-end="2315">Maintain weld logs, inspection reports, material records, NCR logs, and other QA/QC documentation</li>
<li data-section-id="1ksdzi4" data-start="2316" data-end="2416">Identify quality issues, support corrective actions, and prepare Non-Conformance Reports as needed</li>
<li data-section-id="psc73c" data-start="2417" data-end="2497">Assist with compiling final turnover packages for customer or project closeout</li>
<li data-section-id="31jxji" data-start="2498" data-end="2614">Help ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, and client-specific requirements</li>
<li data-section-id="1g6k74k" data-start="2615" data-end="2688">Promote a safe, clean, and quality-focused fabrication shop environment</li>
</ul>
<h2 data-section-id="1uwd9qn" data-start="2690" data-end="2715">What We’re Looking For</h2>
<ul data-start="2717" data-end="3558">
<li data-section-id="ac7owr" data-start="2717" data-end="2745">High school diploma or GED</li>
<li data-section-id="4u75za" data-start="2746" data-end="2860">Experience in pipe fabrication, welding inspection, industrial fabrication, or a related quality inspection role</li>
<li data-section-id="10w4xk0" data-start="2861" data-end="2968">Ability to read and understand piping isometrics, fabrication drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications</li>
<li data-section-id="28h47j" data-start="2969" data-end="3087">Working knowledge of weld inspection, fit-up inspection, material verification, and fabrication quality requirements</li>
<li data-section-id="ei3ywz" data-start="3088" data-end="3168">Familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications and common welding processes</li>
<li data-section-id="14jskbm" data-start="3169" data-end="3297">Ability to use inspection and measuring tools such as weld gauges, calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and related equipment</li>
<li data-section-id="2hss3b" data-start="3298" data-end="3391">Strong documentation skills and the ability to maintain organized, accurate quality records</li>
<li data-section-id="122w1kl" data-start="3392" data-end="3498">Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with shop, project, and quality personnel</li>
<li data-section-id="1isy0rp" data-start="3499" data-end="3558">Ability to work in an active fabrication shop environment</li>
</ul>
<h2 data-section-id="6t85pa" data-start="3560" data-end="3583">Preferred Experience</h2>
<ul data-start="3585" data-end="4137">
<li data-section-id="vw9zrj" data-start="3585" data-end="3700">3+ years of quality inspection experience in pipe fabrication, industrial fabrication, or mechanical construction</li>
<li data-section-id="kijv6r" data-start="3701" data-end="3748">AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification</li>
<li data-section-id="17vs20f" data-start="3749" data-end="3827">NDT certifications or hands-on familiarity with RT, UT, PT, and MT processes</li>
<li data-section-id="rxp2vm" data-start="3828" data-end="3910">Knowledge of ASTM material specifications and material traceability requirements</li>
<li data-section-id="1415u2j" data-start="3911" data-end="4009">Experience working with ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, AWS, API, or customer-specific quality standards</li>
<li data-section-id="9isu7y" data-start="4010" data-end="4137">Background in industrial, refinery, chemical processing, power generation, manufacturing, or similar fabrication environments</li>
</ul>

<li data-section-id="62n9fo" data-start="4384" data-end="4474">Ability to occasionally lift or move materials, tools, or inspection equipment as needed</li>
<li data-section-id="nfy51v" data-start="4475" data-end="4552">Must follow all shop safety requirements, PPE rules, and quality procedures</li>
