Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.  </div>Legend Biotech is seeking a Manager, Competitive Intelligence as part of the Commercial team based in Somerset, NJ. Role Overview The of Competitive Intelligence (CI) will serve as a strategic thought partner responsible for generating actionable insights that inform decision-making across R&D, commercial, and corporate strategy functions. This individual will lead proactive and on-demand CI initiatives, including competitor monitoring, landscape assessments, early signal detection, conference surveillance, and strategic analysis that supports pipeline development, lifecycle management, and long-term planning. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, collaborative, and business-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the biopharmaceutical landscape. Key Responsibilities Strategic Intelligence & Insight Generation <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Lead competitive intelligence activities across assigned therapeutic areas, platforms, and/or programs, delivering high-quality, actionable insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct comprehensive landscape assessments, including scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial dimensions.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitor competitors’ pipelines, clinical data, regulatory actions, collaborations, and market events to identify emerging threats, opportunities, and early signals.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitor new entrants and startup tracking: Monitoring early innovation signals, investments, and disruptive players</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Synthesize complex data into clear narrative insights and strategic recommendations.</li> </ul> Conference Coverage & Surveillance <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Lead end-to-end conference CI planning and execution, including surveillance plans, abstract triage, onsite (or virtual) monitoring, rapid-readouts, and post-conference summaries.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure aligned priorities and actionable outputs.</li> </ul> Data & Analysis Leadership <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Build and maintain CI frameworks, dashboards, market landscapes, and tracking systems to support continuous monitoring.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manage internally created CI dashboard and in some cases external CI vendors and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with business needs.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develop and implement CI best practices, tools, and standardized processes.</li> </ul> Cross-Functional Partnership <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as CI lead for R&D, commercial, BD, and strategy teams; participate in team meetings and strategic discussions as an insights partner.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Partner with forecasting, medical affairs, and commercial strategy to ensure cohesive interpretation of external environment dynamics.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Required to make decisions on a day-to-day operations for their tasks, and technicalities related to CI mostly. </li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Master’s in life sciences, business, or related field</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, market research.</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong scientific and clinical acumen in relevant therapeutic areas; hematology/oncology and Autoimmune experience preferred (if applicable).</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated track record of delivering strategic insights and influencing decision-making.</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex information into clear insights.</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Highly proficient in CI methodologies, secondary research, data interpretation, and triangulation.</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Skilled at working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with tight timelines.</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">High integrity and ability to manage sensitive/confidential information.</li> <li class="col-xs-12 no-horiz-padding" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
