Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.  </div>Legend Biotech is seeking a Director, Thought Leader Liaison & Strategic Alliances, West as part of the Commercial team based in Los Angeles, CA (Remotely). Role Overview The Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping and advancing the organization’s thought leader engagement strategy across the cell therapy landscape. This role operates at an enterprise level, cultivating high-impact relationships with national and regional experts to inform strategy, accelerate adoption, and elevate the organization’s scientific and clinical presence. Unlike the Associate Director TLL role, which is primarily focused on execution within a defined scope, the Director TLL role is distinguished by breadth of influence, strategic insight generation, and executive-level engagement. The Director TLL serves as a trusted scientific partner to external experts and an internal advisor to senior leadership—translating complex field insights into actionable enterprise strategy. Key Responsibilities Strategic Thought Leader Engagement <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Lead relationships with top-tier national and regional thought leaders in cell therapy, oncology, and transplant. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Design and execute long-term engagement strategies aligned to enterprise priorities and lifecycle needs. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as a credible scientific partner in discussions spanning clinical practice, research trends, operational challenges, and future innovation. </li> </ul> Enterprise-Level Insight Generation <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Synthesize insights across engagements to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and strategic opportunities. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Translate field insights into clear, executive-ready narratives that inform strategy, messaging, evidence generation, and education. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proactively identify gaps between internal strategy and external reality, elevating recommendations to leadership. </li> </ul> Executive & Cross-Functional Partnership <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Act as a strategic advisor to Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical Education. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Support executive-level meetings, advisory boards, and strategic initiatives requiring deep scientific and field expertise. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Influence internal decision-making without direct authority through credibility, data, and perspective. </li> </ul> Scientific Credibility & External Presence <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Represent the organization with a high level of scientific rigor and professionalism in external forums. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to the shaping of advisory boards, peer-to-peer forums, and scientific exchange models. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure compliant, balanced, and ethical engagement with thought leaders at all times. </li> </ul> Standards Setting & Capability Elevation (Non-Managerial) <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as a role model for advanced TLL capabilities, including insight quality, engagement depth, and strategic thinking. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to the evolution of insight frameworks, engagement models, and performance standards. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provide informal mentoring and best-practice sharing across the TLL team without direct supervisory responsibility. </li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Advanced degree also considered.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field required; MD, PharmD, PhD or other related graduate degree preferred. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">10-15 years of pharmaceutical or biologics industry experience in sales, marketing, key account management, or medical engaging with thought leaders or influential HCPs required. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">4 years of relevant Multiple Myeloma, Cell Therapy, or Oncology experience required. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Deep expertise in oncology, cell therapy, transplant, or related therapeutic areas. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated success influencing senior internal and external stakeholders. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proven ability to translate complex scientific dialogue into actionable strategic insight. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Able to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to innovate, collaborate, and deliver results. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Valid driver's license. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
