<p><strong>Travel:</strong> Up to 75% (Eastern U.S.) | <strong>Rotation:</strong> 3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>This is not a passive QA role. You will be the <strong>frontline authority on quality</strong>, ensuring materials and construction practices meet the highest standards across active job sites.</p>
<p>We’re looking for someone who is <strong>detail-obsessed, proactive, and unafraid to challenge issues in real time</strong>. This role is a <strong>launchpad for future field leadership</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform <strong>field and lab testing</strong> (soil, concrete, grout, anchors, micropiles) using ASTM, AASHTO, and GSI standards</li>
<li>Monitor construction activities and <strong>identify quality risks in real time</strong></li>
<li>Generate <strong>nonconformance reports</strong> and support root cause investigations</li>
<li>Maintain and calibrate testing equipment for <strong>accurate field results</strong></li>
<li>Produce <strong>clear, audit-ready documentation and daily reports</strong></li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers, field crews, and project leaders across multiple sites</li>
<li>Uphold <strong>strict safety and environmental compliance standards</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<p><strong>Baseline:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2+ years in <strong>construction materials testing, geotechnical fieldwork, or QA/QC</strong></li>
<li>Working knowledge of <strong>ASTM/AASHTO standards</strong></li>
<li>Strong documentation and organizational skills in field conditions</li>
<li>Proficiency with <strong>Excel and digital reporting tools</strong></li>
<li>Ability to travel up to <strong>75%</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred (Higher Ceiling):</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>ACI certification (NICET, WAQTC, ICC also valued)</li>
<li>Experience supporting <strong>complex or multi-site construction projects</strong></li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to <strong>identify and escalate issues early</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Field-based in <strong>remote and variable conditions</strong></li>
<li>Physically active role (lifting up to 50 lbs, extended standing)</li>
<li>Full PPE and <strong>safety-first discipline required</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Base Pay Range:</strong> $45,000 – $60,000 annually; salaried non-exempt position with overtime. <br><em>(Dependent on experience, qualifications, and location</em></li>
