<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">As the Manager of Business Development your job is threefold: (1) Lead a team of BDRs to create qualified opportunities for the sales team, (2) Train other members of the BDR team, and (3) take on operational and administrative tasks to help the BDR team perform and exceed expectations. You will be a source of knowledge and best practices amongst the BDRs, and will help to train, onboard, and mentor new BDRs with the help of the Learning and Development team and Director, Market Outreach and Development. The Manager, Business Development will report to the Sr Manager of Business Development.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you'll do:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Train other members of the BDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for cold calling to conduct business to business sales grow</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure BDR team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring 1:1s</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Actively drive performance/productivity KPIs by conducting 1 on 1 coaching/ goal setting, problem solving, and assist with identifying performance and market trends</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with the Demand Generation and Sales team.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with Sales and the Demand Generation team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes </span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with leadership to identify key company accounts to develop.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work in collaboration with Content, Campaign Managers, and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts</span></li>

<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Excellent communication skills</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for a technical product - leadership experience is highly preferred.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience in sales operations and/or marketing automation software preferred (Marketo and Demandbase preferred)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience in the utilization of sales engagement platforms (SalesLoft preferred)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of B2B SaaS software is preferred</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Sales coaching with experience in prospecting and lead generation</span></li>
