<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Manufacturing Assembler role will assemble or create sub-assemblies of electronic, mechanical and/or electromechanical parts, components, and final products. The position will ensure products are produced according to established customer and quality requirements and maintain records of assembly process, progress, and problems. This is a moderately supervised position with some latitude for independent judgment. The position will perform complex tasks, regularly complete assignments with little to no assistance and may assist less-experienced peers. This position is divided into three classifications: Manufacturing Assembler 1,2,3. The compensation pay band includes and is based on level of skills, knowledge, and experience.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manufacturing Assembler 1 is the entry-level into the manufacturing career series.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manufacturing Assembler 2 is the mid-range of the career series with 2-4 years of experience.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assemble products using pre-established guidelines, instructions, and documentation (diagrams, work instructions, drawings, etc.).</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work with small hand tools such as, electric drivers, torque tools, wire strippers, cutters, tweezers, and use measuring devices such as spacers and calipers.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, epoxy, fasten, align, adjust, press fit or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on printed circuit boards and chassis.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points using soldering procedures and equipment.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">May perform assembly operations under microscope or other magnifying devices.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform online go-not-go testing and inspection, using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment, to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Learn through hands-on training while focusing on achieving necessary level of proficiency.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Report/investigate repetitive assembly problems and propose solutions to resolve them.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work efficiently to finish jobs in a timely manner.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work under the supervision of Lead or Manager.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work collaboratively and cooperatively with other departments: Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, Quality, etc.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Document all work performed on product within the ERP system.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Adhere to established Company procedures and policies, work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Adhere to and improve safety standards.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manage workstation and practice good housekeeping techniques.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strive for continual improvement to quality.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Position Requirements</u></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">High School diploma/GED required.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Associate degree preferred.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Must have a strong background in precision mechanical assembly</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with proper soldering techniques and ESD prevention. J-STD Certification a plus.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Clean room environment experience a plus.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to read and understand schematics, work instructions, and complex drawings/diagrams.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manual dexterity and ability to use common hand tools, calipers, micrometers and other measuring and test tools.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficient with electronic test equipment, as needed to fulfill the duties of this role (various meters, power supply) highly desired.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication skills (verbal and written), as well as strong organizational skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Must have strong computer literacy to use ERP, PC and Microsoft products: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</span></li>
