We only accept direct applications.</strong></em></p></div><p></p> <div><strong><u>Security Systems &amp; Access Control Technician</u></strong></div> <div><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></div> <div>Position Summary</div> <div>The Security Systems &amp; Access Control Technician&nbsp;is responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, and service of electronic security systems including card access systems, door hardware integration, and IP-based camera systems. This role also supports structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure required for security systems.</div> <div>The technician will work on commercial and industrial projects installing &amp; servicing access control devices, door hardware, surveillance cameras, and supporting network infrastructure, ensuring systems are installed, programmed, and operating according to company, manufacturer, and customer standards.</div> <hr> <div>Key Responsibilities</div> <div>Access Control &amp; Door Hardware</div> <ul data-end="1675" data-start="1166"> <li>Install, configure, and service access control systems including card readers, door controllers, electrified door hardware, and locking devices.</li> <li>Integrate and troubleshoot electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, door position switches, and related door hardware.</li> <li>Program and commission access control systems including user credentials, access levels, schedules, and door configurations.</li> <li>Work with systems such as Kantech, or similar enterprise access control platforms.</li> </ul> <div>Video Surveillance Systems</div> <ul data-end="2042" data-start="1708"> <li>Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP-based camera systems.</li> <li>Program and configure video management systems (VMS)&nbsp;including camera setup, recording schedules, and network integration.</li> <li>Work with systems such as Hanwha or similar surveillance platforms.</li> <li>Assist with system commissioning and customer demonstrations.</li> </ul> <div>Structured Cabling &amp; Fiber</div> <ul data-end="2415" data-start="2075"> <li>Install and terminate structured cabling including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling&nbsp;supporting security systems.</li> <li>Terminate and test fiber optic cable using fusion splicing equipment.</li> <li>Install cable pathways, racks, patch panels, and support hardware.</li> <li>Test and certify cabling to ensure compliance with industry standards.</li> </ul> <div>Project Execution &amp;
