EnSafe specializes in custom solutions in Environmental Management and Planning, Civil Design Engineering, Environmental Restoration, Natural &amp; Water Resources, Health &amp; Safety, and Technology.</p> <p><em><strong>What We Are Looking For:</strong></em></p> <p>An experienced Environmental Remediation Associate Engineer ready to support a design team using innovative remedial technologies to address various contaminants in soil, groundwater, industrial wastewater, stormwater, and air. The right candidate will enrich our team of engineers and scientists in providing field and office support and solutions to address contaminants such as PFAS, 1,4-dioxane, chlorinated solvents, petroleum, and heavy metals for sites regulated under state, CERCLA, and RCRA laws. Joining our team means immersing yourself in an atmosphere that nurtures creativity, encourages collaboration across all levels, embraces a supportive culture, and facilitates professional development.</p> <p><em><strong>Key Responsibilities for this position include:</strong></em></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Supporting remedial and process engineering projects and teams to fill data gaps, design, construct, operate, and optimize systems.</li> <li>Planning and performing assessments, pilot tests, construction oversight, and remedying O&amp;M.</li> <li>Evaluating data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies.</li> <li>Preparing design basis, technology feasibility analyses and selection, and design plans, specifications, and reports.&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicating with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.</li> <li>Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects.</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Minimum skills and requirements:</strong></em></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.&nbsp;</li> <li>4-8 years of relevant experience required.</li> <li>P.E. preferred, EIT required.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of TDEC, CERCLA, RCRA, and other environmental regulations, legislation, and SOPs.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with remediation technologies and O&amp;M for soil, groundwater, stormwater, industrial wastewater, and air for a wide range of contaminants.</li> <li>Experience with remedial system instrumentation and controls, and remote telemetry is a plus.</li> <li>Strong consulting, problem-solving, and leadership skills.</li> <li>A valid driver’s license.</li> <li>Ability to travel overnight.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong><u>Why Join EnSafe?</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>Employee-Owned Advantage</strong></span><br><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">EnSafe is 100% employee-owned, with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 1997.
