<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a Mechanical Skid Assembler to support fabrication and assembly of mechanical skids and piping systems. This role is responsible for assembling sub-components and installing pipe spools onto skids while ensuring alignment with drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, is comfortable using tools and equipment, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assemble mechanical sub-assemblies and components onto skids using hand tools and power tools</li>
<li>Install and secure pipe spools to mating equipment and components</li>
<li>Perform drilling, tapping, bolting, and general mechanical assembly tasks</li>
<li>Read and interpret basic assembly drawings and instructions</li>
<li>Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of components prior to final installation</li>
<li>Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move components and assemblies</li>
<li>Assist with loading, positioning, and securing materials during assembly</li>
<li>Verify materials and components match job requirements</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with shop standards</li>
<li>Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and hazard identification</li>
<li>Report any safety concerns, damaged materials, or quality issues to supervision</li>
<li>Support production goals by completing work efficiently and accurately</li>
<li>Participate in daily production (POD) meetings as required</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Additional Duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist other departments as needed to support production flow</li>
<li>Perform basic equipment and tool checks to ensure proper operation</li>
<li>Support continuous improvement and efficiency efforts</li>
<li>Required Qualifications</li>
<li>2+ years of mechanical assembly or fabrication experience</li>
<li>Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices</li>
<li>Ability to perform drilling, tapping, and bolting tasks</li>
<li>Ability to follow instructions and work from drawings or prints</li>
<li>Basic computer or tracking system familiarity preferred</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience in pipe fabrication or skid assembly</li>
<li>Forklift experience or certification</li>
<li>Ability to read isometric or mechanical drawings</li>
