<div class="content-intro">   </div>Summary Modify, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Has intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wire diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents from both the client and Greenpoint. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Modify, repair, replace, or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of aircraft. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Properly utilize and maintain Avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Accurately document work performed as set forth by Greenpoint and customer maintenance programs daily using the standard format.  Prepare routine reports and correspondence. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies per drawings and standard practices to include marking of wires, properly securing wires into bundles, and termination of wires into a variety of contacts and connectors. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Troubleshoot issues, replace, or repair parts, test, making necessary adjustments. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Operate ground support equipment e.g. GPUs, Hi-Reach, etc. as required. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Operate test equipment e.g. Pitot Static Cart, Navigation test sets, etc. as required. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Help with general clean-up of work area. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Responsible for accurately clocking to jobs. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Regular and prompt attendance. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Effective and appropriate conduct with coworkers. </li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Performs other duties as assigned. </li> </ul>   Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, accepts constructive criticism/feedback and changes approach or method to best fit the situation.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Communications - Expresses ideas and thoughts effectively in verbal and written form, exhibits good listening and comprehension, keeps others informed and uses appropriate communication methods.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Dependability - Responds to requests for service and assistance, follows instruction and responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions and doing the best job possible, keeps commitments, and maintains reliable attendance.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Initiative - Sets and achieves challenging goals, demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles, measures self against standard of excellence, recognizes and acts on opportunities, and takes calculated risks to accomplish goals.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities, exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views, gives and welcomes feedback, contributes to building a positive team spirit, and puts success of team above own interests.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Work Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, displays commitment to excellence, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance, and monitors own work to ensure quality.</li> </ul>   Summary of Education, Experience & Certification Minimum two years’ avionics experience preferred.  Familiar with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual. Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.  B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification is a plus. This safety-sensitive position is covered by the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment drug testing. Persons occupying a "safety-sensitive” position will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing. Post-accident, reasonable cause, and return-to-duty tests may also be required based on specific circumstances.  US Person Required - this position requires special access. A US Person is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.  Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Works under minimal supervision.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Mathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Works under minimal supervision.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work overtime, as required.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to travel.</li> </ul>   Physical Requirements <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to climb and work on step stools and/or ladders.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to reach overhead.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to work in a non-dust-free environment.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Normal or corrected vision (required to perform exacting tasks).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Full range of motion with both hands.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work in a stooping, kneeling or standing position and in cramped areas.</li> </ul>   The expected WA salary range for this position is between $56,000.00 - $77,000.00 USD.
