We’re looking for a Vice President of National Sales to own our revenue growth and channel performance by turning our Sales and Marketing efforts into one unified, unstoppable system. the phrase “this is how we’ve always done it” is banned here at goodr, so don’t be afraid to push out of your comfort zone and encourage your team to do the same<br></span></li> </ul> <p><strong>ROLE SPECIFIC</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Own top-line revenue targets across all National sales channels<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Align sales and marketing efforts to hit growth goals<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Develop and manage forecasting in partnership with our Finance team<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Lead efforts to increase overall revenue through new business development and expansion into new retail markets or partnerships<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Oversee and direct all aspects of goodr’s retail marketing and sales policies, objectives, and initiatives<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Establish revenue targets, sales quotas, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales team<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Work alongside other marketing teams to build seasonal GTM Plans&nbsp;<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Design sales strategies and plans that align with company objectives, ensuring growth in both existing and new markets<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, identifying new opportunities<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Design and implement effective retail marketing strategies that drive consumer engagement, brand awareness, and sales<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Work closely with all marketing teams to ensure the brand is positioned effectively across various retail channels<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Oversee the creation of promotional materials, special offers, and other incentives to boost retail sales<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Utilize data analysis to drive decision-making and optimize marketing strategies<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Monitor performance metrics and consumer insights to inform ongoing initiatives<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Collaborate with other departments such as product development, operations, and finance to align retail and sales strategies with broader company goals<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Advise on negotiations with retailers to secure favorable terms, placement, and marketing support<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Monitor competitors and market conditions, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Keep up to date on changing consumer preferences, market shifts, and emerging trends to anticipate future demand and adjust marketing/sales strategies accordingly<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Identify target customer segments and create customized marketing strategies to address specific needs for our retail market<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Develop and manage the budget for sales and retail marketing efforts<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Analyze the return on investment (ROI) for various sales and marketing initiatives, optimizing efforts to improve profitability<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Work with our Business Intelligence and Finance teams to provide regular sales forecasts and report on performance against financial targets<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Ensure that the brand’s message and identity are consistent across all retail marketing and sales efforts<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">This role is in the Retail Marketing &amp; Sales department and will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Perform other related duties as assigned<br></span><span style="font-weight: 300;"><br></span></li> </ul> <p><strong>ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Asks a lot of questions&nbsp;<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Freakin’ awesome communicator and direction giver<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">8+ years of experience in senior sales and retail marketing roles&nbsp;<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Proven retail experience within CPG and/or apparel, ideally with exposure to sport and/or fashion brands<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Demonstrated marketing acumen, including experience building and executing GTM plans<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Strong cross-functional collaborator, with the ability to align teams and drive outcomes<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into action<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Strong leader, coach, and motivator who can develop teams and drive performance<br></span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 300;">Experience using Salesforce.
