Our customers, which include the world’s leading logos, are expanding how they use our platform, driving automation of critical customer service operations and integrating PolyAI into their daily customer service workflows. </div>Strategic Business Development will focus on working as an individual contributor to help drive key strategic initiatives to accelerate company growth, improve lead generation efficiency, and enhance customer engagement across Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts. You will work closely with the strategic team lead to develop strategy and cross-functional alignment (executive team, marketing, sales, product, etc.) In this role your responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Developing strategic pipeline across your owned accounts </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Deep account research and knowledge that will help us intercept key moments for our prospects and convert them into commercial conversations</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Facilitating and coordinating the first meetings with these strategic accounts  - bringing together the right internal team to ensure we are fully equipped to wow our prospects on the first call.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Following and assisting the sales team in opportunity multi-threading</li> </ul> What you’ll bring to the team: <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Sharp perspective on the market and positioning for our most strategic accounts </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">A strong understanding of our market and the key players we compete with </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Creative mind - always thinking 6-12 months ahead</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Deep network with excellent relationships you can tap into.</li> </ul> Required: <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3-5 years of BD/VC/Sales experience</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Willingness to travel </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Organizational skills</li> </ul> Bonus: <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Multilingual</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Consulting/VC background</li> </ul> Your Style: <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and curious approach to your list </li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">A “whatever it takes” (within reason and integrity) attitude about bringing in pipeline</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Self-starter mentality, scrappy, gritty, collaborative, determined</li> </ul> We provide a competitive salary range for this role - which is $100,000 – $118,000 OTE - depending on level and experience. Please note this range is intended as a guide, not a guarantee. Final compensation will be based on individual qualifications, relevant experience, and the scope of the role.
