<div class="x_elementToProof" data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">This is a hands-on Accounting Manager role supporting a venture capital investment manager and affiliated entities. The hire will be a key right-hand to the CFO and own much of the day-to-day accounting operations across the management company, funds, and portfolio companies.</div>

<div class="x_elementToProof">The role is heavily operational/accounting-focused rather than investment-focused. The client likely needs someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and able to work in a lean finance environment with evolving processes.</div>
<h4><strong>What You Will Do</strong>:</h4>
<ul>
<li data-section-id="il8k5z" data-start="0" data-end="207">Prepare and review journal entries related to cash activity and other key transactions to support an accurate and efficient month-end close process, as well as internal and external reporting requirements.</li>
<li data-section-id="fy64f1" data-start="209" data-end="409">Leverage Concur to manage accounts payable operations, ensuring invoices are properly documented, approved, and accurately coded to the appropriate accounts and projects prior to payment processing.</li>
<li data-section-id="1ibikgq" data-start="411" data-end="571">Support general ledger maintenance through account cleanup, reconciliations, and preparation of detailed supporting schedules for monthly financial reporting.</li>
<li data-section-id="1heovaz" data-start="573" data-end="719">Assist with monthly intercompany billing processes and Accounts Receivable invoicing to ensure timely and accurate transactions across entities.</li>
<li data-section-id="l9b96s" data-start="721" data-end="912">Partner with auditors and external tax advisors by providing requested documentation and financial support related to annual audits and tax return preparation, in coordination with the CFO.</li>
<li data-section-id="ti7bzb" data-start="914" data-end="1049">Review and process employee corporate credit card activity, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate expense reporting.</li>
<li data-section-id="cbbut0" data-start="1051" data-end="1196">Contribute to Chapter 11 reporting requirements and support ad hoc financial requests related to entities undergoing restructuring proceedings.</li>
<li data-section-id="ault3l" data-start="1198" data-end="1295" data-is-last-node="">Prepare and manage annual 1099 reporting to ensure timely and compliant tax filing obligations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p>

<li data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">5–7 years of accounting experience</li>
<li>Strong general ledger and month-end close experience</li>
<li>AP/accounting operations experience</li>
<li>Experience with reconciliations and supporting schedules</li>
<li>Experience supporting audits and tax prep</li>
<li>Multi-entity accounting exposure</li>
<li>Strong Excel skills</li>
<li>Detail-oriented and process-driven</li>
<li>Ability to work directly with senior leadership/CFO</li>

<p><strong><em><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Salary Range</span></em><em><br></em></strong><em>At Petra Funds Group, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The compensation range for this position is $102,000 - $153,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only. Actual pay will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills.</em></p>
