<p><strong>Job Title:</strong><strong> AV Technician</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Lincoln, NE (and surrounding areas)</strong></p> <p>$2500 HIRING BONUS!</p> <p><strong>Job summary:</strong></p> <p>The AV Technician performs all tasks under the direct supervision of a Lead Installation Technician or General Foreman and is primarily responsible for the accurate and efficient installation of simple to complex electronic systems.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp; The following areas of responsibility represent Key Results Areas (KRA’s) for which performance will be measured:</p> <p><strong>Equipment Installation</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Through education and practice, develops an understanding of industry wiring and installation standards and practices.</li> <li>Installs system racks and perform on-site staging of equipment delivered.</li> <li>Properly labels equipment and field cabling in accordance with Technical Standards.</li> <li>Performs installation tasks such as cable placement and termination.</li> <li>Maintains a debris-free workspace.</li> </ol> </ol> <p><strong>Customer Service</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Serves as the face of the organization to best represent the ECC brand and reputation; properly greets and interacts with customers in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.</li> <li>Presents self in a professional manner and positively represents the company image.</li> </ol> </ol> <p><strong>Internal Communication</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Utilizes Lead Tech as the primary communication conduit for technical questions, verifications, and issue reporting.</li> <li>Completes all required documentation accurately and within expected timeframes.&nbsp; This includes but may not be limited to As-Builts, and timekeeping.</li> <li>Recognizes change order opportunities and job-related issues.</li> <li>Be solution-focused by providing communication to Lead Tech with potential resolution.</li> </ol> </ol> <p><strong>Technical Standards</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Ensures consistent adherence to company established technical service standards, thereby insuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Maintains proper tools, materials and test equipment to sustain the highest technical quality possible within the constraints of strong financial management.</li> <li>Maintains accurate on-site installation supplies and materials inventory levels to ensure adequate availability for installations.</li> </ol> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Performs work in adherence to OSHA and company safety policies and procedures as they are introduced to the Company; promptly report unsafe work conditions to supervisor.</li> <li>Ensures proper PPE is worn based upon working conditions.</li> <li>Cultivates positive working relationships within and across departments.</li> <li>Engages in behaviors that foster a healthy work environment and company culture.</li> <li>Presents self in a professional manner and appropriately represent the Company image.</li> <li>Adheres to company-issued policies, procedures, core values, behavioral or other standards as prescribed by the Company.</li> </ol> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Basic understanding of blueprints and drawings.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of hand and power tool usage and safety.</li> <li>Basic understanding of mounting and rigging concepts.</li> <li>Understand installation methods that apply to plumb, level, and square.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Strong mechanical aptitude.</li> <li>Familiarity with programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and CMR.</li> <li>Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively handle stressful situations.</li> <li>Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.</li> <li>Must be solution-focused, forward-thinking and organized.</li> <li>Must be personable, and possess adequate communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external team members.</li> <li>Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies as they are introduced to the Company.</li> <li>Highly adaptable to change.</li> <li>Ability to present self in a professional manner and positively represent the company image.</li> <li>Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by the job.</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED.</li> <li>OSHA 10 or achievement thereof within 90 days.</li> <li>Valid driver’s license.</li> <li>Proof of vehicle insurance is required for those who may drive a personal vehicle for business.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Physical Demands (ADA):</strong></p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;
