We are committed to innovation, quality, and client satisfaction, built on the principles of freedom and responsibility.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Job summary:</strong></p> <p>The Service Technician’s primarily responsible for providing support to field installation teams and clients as it pertains to code implementation, device programming and diagnostics, service department tickets, project close-out operations, and other tasks assigned.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp; The following areas of responsibility represent Key Results Areas (KRA’s) for which performance will be measured:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Technical Standards</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Acquires and maintains training to develop and sustain the skills required to provide the highest level of integration support for products that the company promotes.</li> <li>Ensures consistent adherence to company established technical service standards, thereby insuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Communicates regularly with Service Manager on proposed systems to maintain proper engineering and compatibility standards.</li> <li>Resolves customer problems or complaints relating to installations promptly and documents as per company policies and/or guidelines.</li> <li>Provides proper tools, materials and test equipment to maintain the highest technical quality possible within the constraints of strong financial management.</li> <li>Maintains accurate installation supplies and materials inventory levels to ensure adequate availability for projects.</li> </ol> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Engineering</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Verifies site information in a post-sales manner.</li> <li>Verifies hardware and software functionality as engineered.</li> <li>Provides feedback on solution viability as it pertains to integrations with other systems and products.</li> </ol> </ol> <p><strong>Communications</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Coordinates with Project Management team to help facilitate project timelines and goals.&nbsp; This facilitation will be in the form of aiding with implementations and communications with regards to integration status.</li> <li>Works with the installation team as it pertains to hardware set-up, software set-up, loading code, executing minor code changes, network support, and other tasks as assigned.</li> <li>Works with assigned Programmer to create scope and narrative of code functionality; provides code and/or configuration to installation team and aids in the installation and testing process.</li> </ol> </ol> <p><strong>Client Training</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Provides on-site Client training as required.</li> <li>Interprets quick user guides which summarizes the training content to send to Clients during training presentation.</li> </ol> </ol> <p><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong></p> <ol> <ol> <li>Performs work in adherence to OSHA and company safety policies and procedures as they are introduced to the Company; promptly reports unsafe work conditions to supervisor.</li> <li>Cultivates positive working relationships within and across departments.</li> <li>Engages in behaviors that foster a healthy work environment and company culture.</li> <li>Presents self in a professional manner and appropriately represents the Company image.</li> <li>Adheres to company-issued policies, procedures, core values, behavioral or other standards as prescribed by the Company.</li> </ol> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced knowledge and experience installing and troubleshooting RR installation.</li> <li>Must have knowledge of the technical aspects of the video system in which training is being delivered.</li> <li>Proficiency in programs as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and CMR.</li> <li>Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively handle stressful situations.</li> <li>Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.</li> <li>Must be solution-focused, personable, forward-thinking and extremely organized.</li> <li>Possess adequate communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external team members.</li> <li>Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies as they are introduced to the Company.</li> <li>Highly adaptable to change.</li> <li>Ability to present self in a professional manner and positively represent the company image.</li> <li>5+ years of experience working in a field installation role.</li> <li>Intermediate AV design experience.</li> <li>CTS-I or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Network+ Certification.</li> <li>Cisco ICND (within first 6 months).</li> <li>Entry-level programming of control system(s) and IT networks.</li> <li>Familiarity with Audio DSP programming and theory.</li> <li>Experience working with ticketing systems.</li> <li>Proficiency with construction techniques and structured cabling.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Physical Demands (ADA):</strong></p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;
