Join us!</p></div><p>The Senior Director, Trade & Distribution is a strategic senior leader responsible for designing, building, and managing Definium Therapeutics’ commercial distribution and channel strategy for DT-120 ODT. Reporting to the Vice President of Market Access, this role integrates cross-functionally across the commercial organization to ensure patient and provider access to therapy through extensive and ongoing engagement with key trade partners including 3PL providers, Data Aggregators, Specialty Distributors, Specialty Pharmacies, and Hospital and/or Community Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). This position plays a critical role in supporting commercial launch readiness and long-term channel growth.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and lead end-to-end commercial distribution and channel strategy from pre-launch architecture through post-launch optimization</li>
<li>Define and manage the channel mix across Specialty Distributors, Specialty Pharmacies, Hospital and Community GPOs, and emerging access pathways</li>
<li>Serve as the primary relationship owner for key trade vendors including 3PL providers, Data Aggregators, Specialty Distributors, and Specialty Pharmacies</li>
<li>Manage vendor relationships, resolve operational issues, and drive channel strategy decisions within established commercial parameters</li>
<li>Negotiate and manage contracts, service level agreements, and performance metrics with distribution partners</li>
<li>Act as the connective tissue between Trade and the broader commercial organization — aligning with Market Access, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Compliance</li>
<li>Lead cross-functional working teams to ensure readiness across all distribution channels</li>
<li>Oversee trade operations including order management, inventory flow, chargeback processing, and data reporting</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with all federal and state distribution regulations, pedigree requirements, and serialization mandates</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred</li>
<li>Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in trade and distribution within the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of leading high-impact channel strategies and commercial launch experience</li>
<li>Deep expertise across the full distribution ecosystem: 3PL management, specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, GPO contracting, and data aggregation</li>
<li>Strong proficiency with trade operations systems, data aggregator platforms, and contract management tools required</li>
<li>Proven commercial launch experience — ability to stand up distribution infrastructure for a new product</li>
<li>Strong cross-functional leadership skills with ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels</li>
<li>Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated experience managing complex vendor relationships</li>
<li>Sharp analytical mindset — ability to translate data into strategic insights and operational decisions</li>
<li>Outstanding written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Travel required for vendor meetings, industry conferences, and internal commercial planning sessions </li>
</ul>
<p>The starting base pay range for this position is $239,870.00 - $266,512.00. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.</p>
