Working directly with two senior Value Creation leaders, you will own recurring analytical work and key reporting processes. The role offers direct exposure to Lyra leadership, hands-on engagement with our Operating Companies, and a strong foundation in private equity portfolio operations.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your work as an Operations &amp; Value Creation Analyst will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Scorecard Ownership &amp; Reporting <ul> <li>Own the day-to-day maintenance and continuous improvement of Lyra’s portfolio performance scorecards</li> <li>Aggregate operational and financial data from across the portfolio on a recurring basis</li> <li>Identify trends, outliers, and performance drivers and summarize findings clearly for senior stakeholders</li> <li>Make incremental improvements to scorecard structure, data inputs, and visualizations over time</li> </ul> </li> <li>Analytical Support <ul> <li>Support the Value Creation team with ad hoc analysis, benchmarking, and performance reporting</li> <li>Assist in building financial models and operational summaries that quantify the impact of portfolio initiatives</li> <li>Help prepare materials for regional teams and internal leadership updates</li> <li>Pressure-test data and assumptions before insights are shared more broadly</li> </ul> </li> <li>Data &amp; Workflow <ul> <li>Help maintain clean, consistent data across decentralized portfolio systems</li> <li>Support improvements in how Operating Companies submit operational data and updates</li> <li>Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting efforts through better processes and tooling</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Our ideal candidate has:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1–2 years of analytical experience in a structured program or operations role</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Excel; comfort working with large, messy data sets</li> <li>Clear, concise written and verbal communication — You can translate numbers into a narrative</li> <li>High attention to detail and a track record of delivering clean, reliable work products</li> <li>Ability to manage recurring workstreams independently without heavy oversight</li> <li>Genuine curiosity about business operations and how companies grow</li> </ul> <p><strong>Lyra Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fully funded medical and dental coverage for employees and their families, effective day one</li> <li>Unlimited PTO, with a strong culture of work–life balance</li> <li>Annual bonus based on company and personal performance</li> <li>4% 401(k) match, vested immediately</li> <li>Career pathways and mentorship opportunities</li> <li>Annual company conference and monthly team building events</li> </ul> <p>This role is based in Chicago, IL and requires an onsite presence.
