Operating within a $7–$10 billion asset banking environment, this role serves as a trusted analytics partner to marketing leadership, delivering high-impact insights across retail and commercial lines of business.</p> <p>Blending disciplined data management with advanced reporting, campaign analytics, and performance measurement, the incumbent enables informed, compliant, and data-driven decision-making. This role is essential in optimizing marketing effectiveness, enhancing customer acquisition and engagement, and ensuring regulatory-aligned use of customer and prospect data.</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities – All levels</strong></p> <p><strong>Marketing Data &amp; Business Intelligence</strong>&nbsp;<br>• Manage and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;the bank’s marketing data environment (MCIF, CRM, campaign platforms).&nbsp;<br>• Develop, automate, and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards.&nbsp;<br>• Translate data into clear insights and recommendations.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<strong><br>Campaign Analytics &amp; Execution Support</strong>&nbsp;<br>• Support email, digital, and multi-channel campaigns through list development and performance analysis.&nbsp;<br>• Track campaign effectiveness and ROI.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Digital &amp; Channel Analytics</strong>&nbsp;<br>• Provide performance metrics for online, mobile, and social channels.&nbsp;<br>• Monitor KPIs such as traffic, engagement, and conversions.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<strong><br>Reporting, Incentives &amp; Program Management</strong>&nbsp;<br>• Administer marketing program reporting.&nbsp;<br>• Develop prospecting and ad hoc reports.&nbsp;<br>• Ensure marketing data usage complies with banking regulations.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Additional Responsibilities – VP Level</strong></p> <p><strong>Marketing Data &amp; Business Intelligence</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Maintain sole accountability to own and steward the bank’s marketing data ecosystem; ensure data integrity, usability, and alignment with business objectives.</li> <li>Provide interpretation, guidance and direction to stakeholders offering support and challenging assumptions to influence business decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Campaign Analytics &amp; Execution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enable multi-channel campaigns through sophisticated list development, segmentation and targeting.</li> <li>Analyze campaign performance across channels measuring effectiveness, ROI, and customer response; present insights to continuously refine strategy and execution.</li> <li>Partner with team and stakeholders to translate performance results into optimization strategies that improve reach, engagement and conversion.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reporting, Incentives &amp; Program Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Administer and enhance marketing program reporting, including incentive and promotional analysis, to ensure transparency and performance accountability.</li> <li>Produce prospecting, segmentation, and ad hoc analytical reports to support strategic initiatives and targeted outreach.<strong><br><br></strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements&nbsp;– AVP level</strong><br>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field; and three or more years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements – VP level</strong></p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field; and five or more years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence.&nbsp;</p> <p><br><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficient in SQL and relational databases, with the ability to independently query, validate, and interpret complex datasets.</li> <li>Advanced Excel expertise, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and automation to support scalable reporting and analysis.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with MCIF, CRM platforms, and business intelligence (BI) tools to support reporting, segmentation, and performance measurement.</li> <li>Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, digital campaign execution, and foundational HTML to support testing and optimization.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights and recommendations.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, translating complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for cross-functional and leadership audiences.</li> <li>Highly organized and self-directed, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across marketing, analytics, IT, and business partners.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location Details&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>This position is considered a hybrid role.&nbsp; With management approval, an incumbent may work a combination of remote and onsite work to perform the regular responsibilities of the role.&nbsp; Actual schedule requirements may vary based upon business needs.</p> <p><em>Note: Job levels and hiring decisions are based upon both the business needs of the department and the qualifications of the incumbent.&nbsp; In some cases, an incumbent may meet the requirements of the VP level role but may be hired in at a lower level based upon business needs and staffing dynamics.</em></p> <hr> <p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p> <p><strong>AVP Level - Base pay:</strong>&nbsp; $77,705 - $105,000&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>VP Level - Base Pay:</strong>&nbsp; $95,770 - $125,000; <strong>VP level is Officer Bonus Eligible:</strong>&nbsp; Eligible to participate in the Annual Officer Incentive plan with a target bonus up to 10% of base salary based various performance components.</p> <p>Old Second is committed to fair and equitable pay practices.&nbsp;
