We're a team on a mission to change what personalized healthcare looks and feels like.</div>Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site Location: Gilbert, Arizona Schedule: 3rd shift; Monday through Thursday; 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour plus $2.00 per hour shift differential <h3>Position Overview</h3> Ready to step into a pivotal role as an overnight Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician, where your skills bring life-changing medications to individuals who depend on them? In this role at Strive Pharmacy, you'll be at the core of preparing and compounding custom prescriptions, both hazardous and non-hazardous. You will uphold the highest standards of quality control and maintain strict compliance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Medication Compounding: Accurately compound and mix custom non-sterile medications (including liquids, topical creams, capsules, and more) according to formulas and prescriptions.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Equipment & Calibration: Calibrate, maintain, and document the use of precision equipment, scales, and meters to ensure exact measurements.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Quality Assurance: Execute strict quality control protocols and present finished compounds to the pharmacist for final verification and approval.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Inventory Management: Monitor, manage, and rotate the chemical and raw material inventory to ensure potency, freshness, and optimal stock levels.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Safety & Compliance: Maintain a pristine, organized, and safe cleanroom workspace. Actively participate in internal and external audits/inspections to ensure total regulatory compliance.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the laboratory and pharmacy team to meet daily compounding schedules and troubleshoot workflow challenges.</li> </ul> <h3>Required Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Licensure/Certification: Active Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB/NHA) certification AND a valid, active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License (Technician Trainee licenses cannot be accepted).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Background: Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Safety Compliance: Absolute willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for hazardous and non-hazardous compounding.</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience: 1+ years of dedicated non-sterile compounding experience in a pharmacy setting is highly preferred.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with USP <795> (Non-Sterile Compounding), USP <800> (Hazardous Drug Handling), and FDA 503A/cGMP guidelines.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Lab Flexibility: Comfortable and capable of working interchangeably in both hazardous and non-hazardous compounding environments.</li> </ul> <h3>Work Environment & Physical Requirements</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Physical Tasks: Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or manipulate precision laboratory equipment and ingredients.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Lifting: Must be able to occasionally lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., chemical barrels, bulk inventory).</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Setting: Remotely climate-controlled indoor laboratory environment.
