We're a team on a mission to change what personalized healthcare looks and feels like.</div>Schedule: Monday 10am - 8:00pm & Wednesday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm Location: Gilbert, AZ; Onsite <h3>Position Overview:</h3> Ensure appropriate dosing and verify compounded medications while upholding quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Visually checking lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Visually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearance</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Answering and making clarification phone calls dedicated for pharmacists</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Counseling patients</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care</li> </ul> <h3>Required Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Active AZ Pharmacist license</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in compounding</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of aseptic technique</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiar with USP guidelines</li> </ul> Work Environment: This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed.
