Our vision is to evolve EQT into a modern, connected, digitally enabled organization.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">With an incredibly collaborative culture and a determined, progressive workplace, EQT was both named a National Top Workplace, as well as one of Pittsburgh's Best Places to Work!<br></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Join our Qrew!<br></span></strong></span></p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Here is how the Field Communications Specialist role will impact our business:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The Field Communications Specialist supports the reliability, availability, and security of industrial communication systems that enable SCADA operations, remote monitoring, automation, and field connectivity across operational assets.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>The Field Communications Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cellular routers/modems, wireless radios, satellite systems, managed switches, edge industrial computers, and serial communication systems.</li> <li>Support SCADA, telemetry, and industrial communication networks.</li> <li>Configure and troubleshoot IP addressing, VPNs, VLANs, routing, firewall settings, and communication failover systems.</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance inspections and communication system testing.</li> <li>Troubleshoot communication issues involving cellular, RF, Ethernet, VPN, SCADA, and edge device connectivity.</li> <li>Install and verify antennas, communication cabling, grounding, and surge protection systems.</li> <li>Maintain network diagrams, IP records, configuration backups, and commissioning reports.</li> <li>Coordinate with Operations, SCADA, Automation, IT, and Engineering teams.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Required Experience and Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">2+ years of experience in industrial communications, networking, telecommunications, SCADA, automation, or related technical field.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience preferred.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, cellular and RF communications, Ethernet and serial communications, and SCADA communication systems.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Experience configuring or troubleshooting cellular routers/modems, VPNs, managed switches, radio and satellite communication systems, and edge industrial computers.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Basic understanding of routing, NAT, VLANs, firewall concepts, RF communications, and failover logic.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Ability to work in field and industrial environments and travel as required.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Preferred Experience and Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Experience with SCADA systems, PLC/RTU communications, DNP3, Modbus, or OPC-UA protocols.</li> <li>Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or OEM communication certifications.</li> <li>Experience in Oil &amp; Gas, Utilities, Energy, or Industrial Automation environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with OT cybersecurity concepts and network segmentation.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><br>Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">EQT Corporation and its subsidiaries is an Equal Opportunity Employer -- Disabilities/Veterans.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div>
