About the Role

<p>Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.</p> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Warehouse Manager</strong> to run our warehouse of robots, spare parts, and equipment supporting customer deployments and field data operations. This role owns everything that happens to equipment inside the four walls - receiving, storage, inspection, kitting, and inventory accuracy -&nbsp; and hands off completed kits to the Dispatch team for delivery to the field.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own day-to-day operations of the warehouse: layout, storage, labeling, and organization of robots, spare parts, and data collection equipment.</li> <li>Receive incoming equipment and shipments; inspect, log condition, and check items into inventory.</li> <li>Build and stage kits against project request manifests, and hand off completed kits to the Dispatch Coordinator for delivery to active sites.</li> <li>Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records - quantities, condition, and location - for all equipment held in the warehouse.</li> <li>Inspect and process returned equipment, documenting damage or missing items and routing gear for repair, restock, or retirement.</li> <li>Manage warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance, including proper storage and handling of batteries, tools, and sensitive equipment.</li> <li>Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff or temp labor as volume grows.</li> <li>Partner with the Deployment Logistics Lead and Dispatch Coordinator to forecast equipment needs and flag shortages or bottlenecks before they impact a project.</li> <li>Help build and maintain SOPs/checklists for receiving, kitting, inspection, and returns as the program scales.</li> <li>Track equipment lifecycle data (usage, wear, repair history) to support replacement and purchasing decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or equipment operations, ideally in a hardware, robotics, or field-deployed equipment environment.</li> <li>Track record of owning physical inventory accuracy at scale - not just receiving, but full lifecycle tracking.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills - comfortable coordinating across logistics, dispatch, and project teams.</li> <li>Proficiency with inventory/tracking systems, spreadsheets, and project management tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Jira, Confluence, inventory systems).</li> <li>Experience managing or leading a small team.</li> <li>Comfortable with physical work: lifting equipment, operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) as needed.</li> <li>Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment; comfortable solving problems in real time without waiting for permission.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or hardware company warehouse operations.</li> <li>Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools.</li> <li>Forklift certification.</li> <li>Experience supporting rapid scaling of a field operations or deployment program.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $150,000 - $200,000 annually.</p> <p>The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.&nbsp;</p>
