Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role:</p> <p><strong><em>Must-have Skills</em></strong><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Strong expertise in Kafka (preferably w/ Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect).</strong></li> <li>Experience with at least one of TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, or Java.</li> <li>Hands-on experience in managing Kafka infrastructure (not limited to AWS MSK).</li> <li>Proficiency in debugging, upgrades, and resolving Kafka broker issues.</li> <li>Solid understanding of Kafka configuration and scalability best practices.</li> <li>Desirable familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Airflow.</li> <li>Experience implementing monitoring and maintenance strategies for Kafka infrastructure.</li> <li>Experience integrating Kafka with other platforms and systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Nice-to-have:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>AI Tooling Proficiency</strong>: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation.
