Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role.</p> <p><em>We’re looking for a <strong data-start="480" data-end="497">Tech Director</strong> to drive enterprise-scale architecture and platform strategy, leading the design and delivery of highly scalable, cloud-native distributed systems for a major healthcare organization.</em></p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Lead architecture, design, and implementation of highly available, scalable distributed systems.</li> <li>Define technical standards, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.</li> <li>Design and build full-stack solutions in cloud-native environments.</li> <li>Provide technical leadership across teams (mentorship, design reviews, code reviews).</li> <li>Partner with Product, Data, Security, and clients to translate business and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2) into technical solutions.</li> <li>Optimize system performance, reliability, and resilience for high-volume transactional systems.</li> <li>Architect detailed technical solutions aligned with project scope and domain requirements.</li> <li>Leverage cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build scalable and resilient systems.</li> <li>Lead technical discussions, solution workshops, and client briefings.</li> <li>Produce documentation and runbooks for delivered architectures and code.</li> </ul> <h2><strong data-start="729" data-end="746">Requirements</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Strong proficiency in one or more: Java, Python, Go, Kotlin, C#, Node.js.</li> <li>Experience in healthcare tech or fintech industries.</li> <li>Experience integrating with healthcare platforms (Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, NextGen, Allscripts, PointClickCare, Veeva, Medidata) is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, Kafka/SQS, relational and NoSQL databases.</li> <li>Advanced React/Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript experience.</li> <li>Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.</li> <li>Microservices or event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, etc.).</li> <li>Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code.</li> <li>Docker, Kubernetes, and observability (logging, metrics, tracing).</li> <li>Pragmatic decision-making balanced with engineering excellence.</li> <li>Comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders and executive audiences.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Nice-to-have</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>AI Tooling Proficiency:&nbsp;</strong>Use one or more AI tools to optimize day-to-day work (drafting, analysis, research, or process automation), recommend effective use, and spot workflow streamlining opportunities.</li> <li>Building and operating AI-powered tools (such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate the software development lifecycle</li> <li data-start="3063" data-end="3106">Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, EDI standards.</li> <li data-start="3199" data-end="3262">Experience applying automation or AI to engineering workflows.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What We Offer</strong></h2> <ul> <li>A High-Impact Environment</li> <li>Commitment to Professional Development</li> <li>Flexible and Collaborative Culture</li> <li>Global Opportunities</li> <li>Vibrant Community</li> <li>Total Rewards</li> <li>Specific benefits are determined by employment type and location.</li> </ul> <p>Find out more about our culture&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/wizelineglobal/" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
