<h2><strong>Position Objective</strong></h2>
<p>The <strong>Construction Manager – Heavy Industrial Electrical Construction</strong> directs activities of personnel engaged in power construction projects by planning, coordinating, and overseeing field execution. This role is responsible for maintaining a professional approach to leadership while fostering teamwork, safety, and high-performance project delivery.</p>

<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Promote and maintain a strong <strong>safety culture</strong>, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations</li>
<li>Supervise and assign <strong>Superintendents, General Foremen, and Foremen</strong> based on project needs</li>
<li>Ensure <strong>quality control and strict adherence to company safety standards and policies</strong></li>
<li>Develop and maintain strong working relationships with <strong>local unions and labor partners</strong></li>
<li>Partner with field leadership to <strong>schedule crews, tools, and equipment</strong> to maximize productivity and minimize downtime</li>
<li>Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to <strong>update and maintain project schedules</strong></li>
<li>Review production, monitor work progress, and take corrective actions to maintain <strong>profitability and performance</strong></li>
<li>Approve <strong>timesheets, daily field reports, and work-in-progress reporting</strong></li>
<li>Support <strong>estimating and bid development</strong>, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and constructability improvements</li>
<li>Assist in reviewing and validating <strong>as-built documentation</strong></li>
<li>Coordinate with PMs and PEs to ensure <strong>material availability, subcontractor coordination, and contract compliance</strong></li>
<li>Support assembly of <strong>project closeout documentation</strong></li>
<li>Train, mentor, and develop field leadership while <strong>holding teams accountable for performance</strong></li>
<li>Conduct <strong>on-the-job training and safety meetings (tailboards)</strong></li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>

<h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li><strong>5–7+ years of relevant construction experience</strong> (industrial, power, or electrical preferred)</li>
<li><strong>Fully qualified tradesperson background</strong></li>
<li>OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Proficiency with <strong>Microsoft Office Suite</strong></li>
</ul>

<h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Background as a <strong>Superintendent or General Foreman</strong></li>
<li>Experience in <strong>industrial electrical, power generation, or EPC projects</strong></li>
<li>Experience working with <strong>medium-voltage and high-voltage systems</strong></li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>commissioning-intensive environments</strong></li>
</ul>

<li>Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching</li>
<li>Regular lifting, pushing, and pulling up to <strong>25 pounds</strong>, with frequent lifting up to <strong>50 pounds</strong></li>
<li>Use of hands for tools and equipment</li>
<li>Vision requirements include <strong>close, distance, color, and depth perception</strong></li>
