In this high-impact position, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and verifying prescription orders, ensuring precise compounding calculations, and conducting rigorous visual quality checks for both sterile and non-sterile preparations. Working in close adherence to Strive Pharmacy’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), state regulations, and industry standards, you will serve as a vital clinical resource, offering expert guidance to healthcare providers, counseling patients, and ensuring every medication shipped meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>Join the forefront of healthcare excellence, where you'll be:</p> <ul> <li>Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness</li> <li>Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly</li> <li>Visually checking lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs</li> <li>Visually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearance</li> <li>Answering and making clarification phone calls dedicated for pharmacists</li> <li>Counseling patients</li> <li>Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree</li> <li>Active Arizona Pharmacist license</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fulfillment experience in a retail setting or equivalent</li> <li>Experience in compounding</li> <li>Understanding of aseptic technique</li> <li>Familiarity with USP guidelines</li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p> <p>This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed.
