<div> <p><strong>CityVet Externship Program</strong></p> <p>CityVet is now accepting applications for its <strong>Veterinarian Externship Program</strong>, offering third- and fourth-year DVM students the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in a veterinarian-led practice environment.</p> <p>This program is designed for students seeking meaningful mentorship, real-world clinical exposure, and insight into practice models centered on autonomy, collaboration, and long-term career growth.</p> <hr> <h3>Program Overview</h3> <p>CityVet externships provide a structured yet flexible clinical experience in small animal general practice settings, with many locations also offering urgent care exposure.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Eligibility:</strong> 3rd and 4th-year DVM students at AVMA-accredited veterinary schools</li> <li><strong>Duration:</strong> Two-week externship blocks, with flexibility to accommodate university rotation requirements</li> <li><strong>Stipend:</strong> Competitive stipend, paid via direct deposit on the first Friday of the rotation</li> <li><strong>Locations:</strong> CityVet clinics available across multiple states</li> <li><strong>Housing:</strong> Housing is not provided; however, CityVet can share accommodation recommendations from prior externs</li> <li><strong>International students:</strong> Eligible if enrolled at an AVMA-accredited university and authorized to work in the United States.
