This paid opportunity is designed for veterinary students who enjoy connecting with their peers, supporting campus engagement, and exploring career pathways within veterinary medicine.</p> <p>CityVet Ambassadors play a key role in strengthening relationships between their veterinary school and CityVet while gaining valuable professional experience and mentorship.</p> <hr> <h3>Program Overview</h3> <p>CityVet Student Ambassadors serve as on-campus representatives who help share information about externships, career opportunities, and student events. Ambassadors work closely with the CityVet Campus Recruitment team to support meaningful engagement throughout the academic year.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Program term:</strong> Fall semester through spring semester</li> <li><strong>Compensation: </strong>Annual competitive stipend, paid in the fall and spring</li> <li><strong>Time commitment:</strong> Flexible and designed to work alongside academic schedules</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <p>Ambassadors act as a liaison between CityVet and their veterinary school. Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Serving as the primary point of contact between CityVet and campus organizations</li> <li>Sharing information about CityVet externships, career opportunities, and events with students</li> <li>Assisting with the planning and promotion of campus engagements such as lunch and learns, networking events, career fairs, and student organization events</li> <li>Supporting event logistics including space reservations, promotion, and day-of coordination</li> <li>Participating in monthly virtual Ambassador meetings with CityVet doctors and Campus Recruitment team members</li> <li>Providing feedback on student interests, campus culture, and upcoming opportunities</li> </ul> <p>CityVet covers all approved event-related expenses.
